At 21, I've never been in love. I've had a few girlfriends, but I knew that I didn't love them. I knew why I liked them and didn't include them in my future plans. Since they told me they loved me, I kind of felt obligated to say I loved them, but it was just to appease them. In the end, that led to hurt feelings, and I feel a little guilty about it. With my personality and the way I think, I sometimes doubt if I am even capable of falling in love. Do you think one can be incapable of falling in love? And if you have fallen in love, how would you describe it?

everyone is capable of falling in love sometimes love just comes earlier in ones life than others. you're only 21, you still have time to meet the person you're going to love. you'll know love when it hits you. love grows with time. for me i knew i loved my bf when i began to include him in my future plans. i can see myself growing with him, he isn't threatened by me and I'm not threatened by him. we can spend the day doing things together or with our own friends. we talk about the goals that have individually and together and we help each other attain them. i can go forever but i won't.. you have to learn on your own what love is to you. you will find that someone out there and when you her, you'll know.

When you fall in love you won't have to ask what it feels like because you will know immediately. It's a feeling like no other in the world. When you find that special person you find yourself wanting to spend every second with them. You will surrender completely to that person heart, body and soul, thus soul mates. I like you have had many friends, but I was in love just once, it lasted 35 years. You'll know, give it time

Love is when you care for someone more than you care for yourself. The most selfless act of love is to give your life for that person. Would you give your life for your children, parents, wife, girlfriend, husband, boyfriend; whomever? If so, you love them. There are different loves; Eros ~romantic love; Philia ~ brotherly love; Agape ~Unconditional love. It's all love. The catch is, is to find someone who loves you as much. I've found it and I hope you do too.
Don't settle on 'someone' just so you don't hurt their feelings. It's better to be alone than with someone you don't really care for. That's not fair or honest. Wait until you find the right one and you'll be happy.
Also, please read John 3:16; that's the most generous gift of love to all mankind.
