Psychology - January 2007

I've been tested for ADHD and that's not it, but there's always more than just one thought going through my mind. I can focus on one thing, but there are always millions of little random questions and thoughts buzzing around in there. sometimes it's almost like I can hear them all chatting away. It's IMPOSSIBLE for me to completely clear my mind, and this makes it kind of hard to get to sleep, but eventualy I do, just to have lots of dreams. I can think things out better than a lot of people I know and I remember lots of little tiny details that usually no one would even think much about. like I can tell you that the box next to my grandma's treadmill is a yellowed white color with the masking tape label "Gentri's records" even thought I dont know a Gentri and I've only seen it once before. Just that type of thing. I sometimes forget details and dates so I dont think I'm like rainman or anything. Could you explain what's going on or why I'm like this?

I have a supervisor who calls herself a b#!*h & tries to make everyones lives at work hell. What do I do when she screams at me? I hate working in her department because I get stressed out when I work with her.

You borrow a gun off a friend. He wants it back. You know he is going to kill someone when he gets the gun. Do you give him the gun knowing what he plans to do with it. Or do you keep it from him and take the risk of getting felony charges of theft.

i have no idea why i ended up like fool, i ve felt so much hate rise up in me, i don't know who should i lash it out to, i hate my life, hate myself, i felt so helpless, i went to college i didn;t finish, i went to university i didn't finish, rightnow i can't find a freaking job. i married a guy who i have had dated for 3 years who'd had promised will never cheat on me cheated on me on our honey moon and got STD. i don't know what to do. i m hopeless.

have you ever heard of the book "the notebook girls"? well i bought it and read it, then passed it along to my friend to read with secret hopes of keeping a notebook of our own. After she read it, she had similar ideas. She started a notebook with her 3 "better" friends. Immediately I was hurt pretty badly. She even showed me a page with some pictures on it, but when I wanted to get a closer look she pulled it away fearfully and said "sorry, you cant read it."
that incedent and the whole idea pretty much brought up some sour feelings and pea green envy. I am a pretty jealous person, probably because I'm an only child. this idea has been brewing in my mind to take the notebook. I know it is an awful thing. but I did it. I took the notebook out of pure jealousy.

I like to think of myself as a good christian girl never done anything wrong, basically im a goody goody.

i feel terrible what should I do? and confessing is kind of hard I dont want to ruin our friendship...

Or do they at least relate to what has been happening in your life recently? I mean my life has been a little in the downs but this dream i had last night was just...... tragic. I don't even want to talk about what happened in it, but could you tell me if dreams always have some meaning, or are they just usually random thoughts that your subconcious sends you while you're sleeping? If you could explain a little about what dreams are or why we have them that would be great too. thanx!!

Do you take it from how that person writes, hold out all judgement until you can uncover it, guess from the username, simply apply all people to have the same sex as you until proven otherwise, or do you use some other means?

if you found a book in a day care that should not be there would you report it.This book is about seduction and betraying .I feel if you are going to read this stuff what place does it have in a day care and why are you reading it there .That is like going and watching X rated movies while caring for kids.

Last night I dreamt that I was in San Francisco. I've never been to that city before, nor do I have plans to travel there.

In the dream, I was in San Francisco and I was taking pictures of the buildings in the city. What does this dream mean? What does it mean when you dream of someplace you've never been to before?

I am getting scared and it's bugging me. I have had several dreams ( nightmares) that things are happening and they are becoming reality. I had a dream that I my friend got shot and about 3 weeks later it happened. I have been saying that I will go to the gym and tone up and by the time my fiance comes home from jail I will be a different person ( physically) I have been slacking and I had a dream that he comes homes and sayd what have you been doing. I went to visit him this past weekend and what do you think one of his sentences were: what have youi been doing?. I can gop on and on about things but I want a quick response. K now this story is long, but I have this Douch bag couple upstiars who have been making mine and my roomates life a living hell. They make horrible noises at 10 or 11 cause they can see out light off, and they have tried to get us kicked out a few times. Until she realized that I was in Real Estate, and I knew my rights. K now I know I could take it up with my lanlord but I really do not want to. I want to know How can I get back at them WHAT CAN i DO THAT WILL TOTALLY PISS THEM OFF, BUT NOT GET ME KICKED OUT. THEY ARE MAKING MY LIFE HELL. They live on top of me so let me know! Lets also keep in mind all this has started since I moved in I DO NOT PARTY, DO NOT HAVE PEOPLE OVER. This is due to me chatting with her 45 yr old BOYFRIEND and she came down like a friggin rocket giving me nasty glares and now she has made my life compleltly uncomfortable. Basically it is because we are younger and she is threatend. Hoenstly I could hit on her bf but he is a loser, & I am not going to do that

I am well aware that school psychology is mostly comprised of non-doctoral specialists thus making it harder to secure a job in school districts. Would I be better of pursuing the specialist degree or the Ph.D. Which degree provides the most opportunities?
