I've felt the hate rise up in me
Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves
I wander out where you can't see
Inside my shell I wait and bleed
I've felt the hate rise up in me
Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves
I wander out where you can't see
Inside my shell I wait and bleed
GOODBYE!!
I wipe it off the tile, the light is brighter this time
Everything is 3-D blasphemy
My eyes are red and gold, the hair is standing straight up
This is not the way I pictured me
I can't control my shakes!
How the hell did I get here?
Something about this, so very wrong
I have to laugh out loud, I wish I didn't like this
Is it a dream or a memory?
I've felt the hate rise up in me
Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves
I wander out where you can't see
Inside my shell I wait and bleed
GET OUTTA MY HEAD 'CAUSE I DON'T NEED THIS!
Why didn't I see this?
I'm a victim--Manchurian Candidate
I-HAVE-SINNED-BY-JUST
Makin' my mind up and takin' your breath away
I've felt the hate rise up in me
Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves
I wander out where you can't see
Inside my shell I wait and bleed
I've felt the hate rise up in me
Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves
I wander out where you can't see
Inside my shell I WAIT AND BLEED!!!
GOODBYE!!!!!!!
You haven't learned a thing
I haven't changed a thing
The flesh was in my bones
The pain is always free
You haven't learned a thing
I haven't changed a thing
The flesh was in my bones
The pain is always free
I've felt the hate rise up in me
Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves
I wander out where you can't see
Inside my shell I wait and bleed
I've felt the hate rise up in me
Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves
I wander out where you can't see
Inside my shell I wait and bleed
AND IT WAITS FOR YOU!!!!!!!

To answer your question, since I'm so amazing and all (haha, kidding)--and because I noticed no one else really did this--I'll try to interpret some of it for you. Most of what the song is saying is about being oppressed by others and forced into a mold/shell "Inside my shell I wait and bleed... Get outta my head cause I don't need this..." etc. The "hate" that's described is the hate being felt against the people that are holding him back from being who he wants to be, and "This is not the way I pictured me" is showing his surprise at how angry he is and how he really doesn't want to be this way, but it's like they're forcing him to be.
But...
You know what really bothers me about bands like Slipknot... Is that they try to put a deeper meaning into their songs, but it just comes out garbled, the meaning gets lost, random words get thrown in, and it just turns out to be a song just like any other about being angry/sad and talking about bleeding/angst. There's many better bands out there and better songs that show this feeling much more eloquently (and might I say it just sounds better) without being so cliche.

Depending at the purpose of the breakup, I might endorse one-of-a-kind matters... I am extra for the indignant song myself. Not a lot into nation and definately no longer into rap.... On the heavy facet: SlipKnot - Diluted Diecast - Fractured GWAR - Sick Of You (humorous) Hatebreed - Give Wings to My Triumph or Before Dishonor Pantera - This Love Stone Sour - Through The Glass Mudvayne - Happy? or Forgotten To Remember On the Milder facet: Alanis Morissette - You Oughta Know Fuel - Sunburn or Shimmer Black Label Society - Rust Blue October - permit It Go Kelly Clarkson - Since You Been Gone (my children listened to this such a lot, I would scream!) Good good fortune and simply bear in mind that matters regularly get greater... and usually the high-quality effect comes from the more serious circumstances. Everything occurs for a purpose, sit down again, permit it move, and notice what is gonna occur subsequent!

that's kind of deep but i interpret it as someone who kiilled another person and they feel no guilt for it or remorse. "i wander out where you can't see inside my shell i wait and bleed" sounds like they were mad at someone and they waited for them to show up to kill them. "GET OUTTA MY HEAD 'CAUSE I DON'T NEED THIS! Why didn't I see this? 'm a victim--Manchurian Candidate" sounds like they might have been feeling some type or guilt but they were just madder because of it. they thought they were in the right by killing that person. that's mainly what I get out of that song.

i love slipknot. i seen them in concert one of the first years they were out and that was the best show i think i ever seen.
but as for your question. me personally, the song puts me in a better mood. but then fast hard metal/rock songs do that to me. but on the other had i won't crank it up in my car or out in public just incase it bothers or insults any body else.

I don't know but I've always liked that one. It sounds like a person full of rage committed murder during a really bad PCP trip.
