Last night I dreamt that I was in San Francisco. I've never been to that city before, nor do I have plans to travel there.

In the dream, I was in San Francisco and I was taking pictures of the buildings in the city. What does this dream mean? What does it mean when you dream of someplace you've never been to before?

And please do not respond with a silly answer.

You are exploring something new in your activities, most likely in relationship with strangers. Or perhaps you are facing new or different attitudes or way of life, new choices or opportunities.

First of all, even if you have never been to the city, more or less you have knowledge about that city. That lurks into your mind somehow. It is either you have this desire to stay away from you current situaton, or you have heard people taking about it.

It does not mean you have desire or plan to travel. It just means that somehow you may not be content withe where you are now.

To dream about a city usually has to do with your social life. To take pictures means you need to pay attention to something particular. And to dream of buildings has to do with yourself. The high part of a building is spirituality and higher awareness, and the low part primal attitudes or sexuality. Think about it and good luck!

It may just mean that you want a change or want to travel. Generally you are the best person to interpret your own dreams because you know yourself best. Here are a few sites you may find interesting in trying to find the meaning in your dreams. Good luck with it.

An unspoken desire to go to such a place, more than likely....Although, in native cultures it could take on a lot of different meanings, ranging from the obvious clear into dreaming "into" someone else's spirit. Not joking or jiving you here.
