some say i am wise, when i belive my own thoughts are silly, and i feel silly asking this, but can someone be wise and belive they are silly?

Yes. It proves a lot of good things about you. First it proves that you are humble, because a wise person who is overly knowledgeable to the fact that they are smart comes off as conceited. Also, the fact that you think that the things you say are silly, and that others around you think those same things are wise proves that you have a deep understanding of what's going on. "The more you know, the more you realize you don't know" type thing. Kudos on such a philosophical question.

Yes, sometimes the most insightful things can only be jokes. People find great solace in thigs they can easily understand. it doesn't matter if you think it is silly, if others find it significant, it is important.
