for few months now I had this recurring dream that I was floating and infront of me is a man wearing white telling me in a nice and kind way that God wants me to become a teacher. And everytime the dream is repeated, the man became more and more angry at me telling me that I have to do what God had been telling me to do...do you think this is a message or just me being stressed, but i can already count the times I have this dream every month.

People always say be confident, but how do you build up your confidence and self-esteem? I'm very smart and will have a good career. But my self-esteem is low because I'm in my twenties and very short guy. I look good, but I feel girls will want a much taller guy. So I'm having a hard time.

How to build up self-esteem and confidence? Thanks for the help.

It doesn't happen all the time but often. If i am driving in my car I imagine me having an horrible accident!!! Or I I am using a knife to cut a fruit I think about cutting my veins, I imagine people coming to rape me!! or I imagine God having s*ex w/ the de*vil. I am very ashamed of this what can I do??

I was playing a game the other day and I noticed something.
Why do I get upset when I don't win?
If I stuck with the easy levels, I could win all the time.
Yet, I try the hard levels and get defeated and it upsets me.
I seem to always be setting my sights way too high.
This in turn creates depression. It's really a kind of vicuous cycle in a way. I just can't seem to be happy unless I push myself to defeat.

possibly has some other mental disorder. Please read these things about him and let me know what you suggest :

My brother is 25 years old. He had a bad temper at times when he was a young child (started around 6 years old or so... as far as I can remember). He became fuming mad if his team lost their game...he'd pitch a fit all the way home, per our parents. He would get agitated very easily by friends and I witnessed him chasing a boy 2 years old than him around the front yard and my brother's face was red and he was distrought. Episodes never lasted long. Then he began to get into serious trouble when he was 13 years old. He would steal CDs and clothes from the mall with his friends. He told us later that he actually sold marijuana at that young of an age and that some local police officers got him and his friend involved in that business of drug dealing. He continued to sell marijuana and eventually other drugs and he also was a user, but not heavily.

Hi, I'm 15 and I'm always feeling many changes in my life epsecially in my way of thinking I have started thinking in things that I didn't use to think in them before such as death. I feel like there is a pressure that comes from my mind and from everybody from those I know. I'm always thinking and thinking I get anxious about simple things even the weather. After thinking in all the changes that are in my life I directly said that my life is ending. I jump directly to death while I hate it. I even feel that I'm more dead that alive.
What does that mean??

I am 21 years old and I have never had a boyfriend or girlfriend or just a plain friend in years. i feel very lonely and rejected. I used to think that everyone rejected me because i´m overweight. then i saw all sorts of people just as overweight, who have boyfriends or spouses and plenty of friends. i´m in spain, and i´m very lonely without my family. My belly is hungering after affection or after junk food. I cant get affection, usualy all i can get is food. will it ever get better?

But he showed his interest in hanging out with me or coming over.
Well, I told him it is early cause we are not close friends.
After 2 weeks he called and asked me if I want to be his girlfriend.
Is it a true feeling?!!!
How I should deal with him he wants to see me this week

Considering the technology and advancements in research we have in this day and time, it never amazes me what the human mind and body is capable of. Just yesterday, I saw a story on Discovery Channel about a 7 year old boy in a rare scenario (forgot the exact name of the case), where he was pregnant with his own twin. It is a rare medical phenomenon, but it can, and did, happen. If a 7 year old can be pregnant with their own twin, then why is it so hard to believe that a person can suffer severe depression, or dissociate identity disorder...and have one or more identities separate from themselves, or any other disorder&illness? Is it because the excuse of mental illness has been taken advantage of, and used as an excuse for criminal activities or to explain away unacceptable behavior? What do you think?
