I don't think I've been demoralized alot.

I think you have the power with your own attitude to throw off any thing that might seem demoralizing to you. You learn not to take those things personally. You decide for yourself whether to accept or not accept what is being said or done to you. You can also choose to get those people out of your life. Or confront them and tell them you don't like being spoken to or treated they way they are treating you.

there is a good article on how muslim men deal with it, writen by a muslim man himself:

In an article titled "Arab Society and Schizophrenia," Iraqi reformist Dr. Abd Al-Khaleq Hussein, who writes on several reformist websites, argues that Arab society suffers from "social schizophrenia," - the symptoms of which are similar to those of individuals suffering from actual schizophrenia. He further argues that the Arab governments must immediately launch social and political reforms which will gradually lead to democracy in the Arab world. If significant reforms are not carried out, he says, disasters will continue to strike the Arab word, and democracy will ultimately be imposed upon it through violent upheavals, as occurred in Iraq. In the article, he also called upon the Arabs to accept the help offered to them by the West - and especially by the U. S. - with the aim of facilitating positive change that will permit them to integrate into the international community.

The BEST thing you can do for yourself is to seek out a psychologist. They can help you understand circumstances, and assist you in discovering how you want to deal with them. A lot of things that happen to us are out of our control, then we wind up feeling like this. They may provide you with meds to bring yourself up from depression. I wish you the best of luck!

To be demoralized means you must have done things or something for people to see you that way. Do you have morals??? You need to ask yourself that, if you do and you practice your what you believe is right, why would anyone want to demoralize you. MY ex bf had no morals by proving himself w/ his actions. His words were nothing but lies. Therefore, I made clear to him he had no morals.

I do not allow others to limit me. I draw the lines for me. I don't care what others think or say about me. It's what I know about me. You should try that feeling for a while, you'll feel better about yourself. I promise.Always believe in yourself Okay?

Once you self-esteem, and self-worth reach 0, it can't get any worse so you learn to live well like that. Or you fight back and confront those people head on that do that to you.

Get away from people who make you feel this way. Be kind and positive to yourself and know you're as good as anyone else.
