You see, i have this SERIOUS fear of points. I cant have anything pointing at me at anytime or i just plain old freak out. If i notice, say the corner of a piece of paper pointing at me, my eyes get weak, and i either squint, or my eyes water, or i throw up.

My other problem is that i have a fear of tubes or cylinders i guess you could say. If i see a cylinder, exspecially if there are 2 that are different sizes, i freak out and throw up. but the problem with this is that i cant get it off my mind. This started when i was young and my brother ran over my hand with the vacuum cleaner and i threw up. I now have a fear of pastel colored M&ms because of that, although i know they have almost nothing in common. But ever since he did that, i had a reoccuring dream about tubes, and i just want to barf everytime i see one .

Can you help me ?

Okay, I am a 17 year old girl who is always writing. Now, i cannot write on the novels that i have. I feel i am full of all this creative energy and when i sit down to write i can't. I am also always so tired, i never feel like i wanna do anything even though i have a long list of things should do. For example, i will be like, "I need to write, exercise, and do my homework." And i end up sitting on the computer visiting the same three sites and doing nothing but sit there or read. I have a overwhelming feeling of being useless and lazy. It's not like i want to do this but i just can't get myself up and do stuff. Its usually sitting here on this computer doing nothing or sleeping. My mood has also become so bitchy lately if that helps, and i have become very emotional also. Thank you, i would be grateful for any help from anyone. Much Love, Amber

What were some good decisions you made, where once they were accomplished, you wondered why it took you so long to just do it?
Also, why *did* it take you so long to do it?

Why do women find arrogance in males so attractive?
Someone care to explain? I would especially like to hear the
point of view from Women.
Don't Women see that Arrogance in a Male is a mostly a sign
for the bloke usually being an Asshole in his character?
And yet Women Digg this "Arrogance" feature? Why?

the teacher did three experiments one with cards and he hit you when you said hearts and one were he droped a ball into your hands when he said go and then closed the students eyes and then the bell at the end of class. so I have to think of something that can do this with out hurting someone else in the process.

How do you have lucid dreams? If you have one once, will you have them for the rest of your life or will you have regular dreams too? I am just curious to how lucid dreaming happens.

I've had my doubts, but lately I've been getting more and more interested with ghosts. Am I being stupid? Or does anyone else get weird feelings sometimes, or hear things in your house?

I'm pretty shy when it comes to meeting new people, especially boys. Usually, after I know them for a while I open up. However, there is this one guy i've liked for a longg time and it seems like no matter what I just can't get over it. I'm so shy and nervous around him, I always feel like such an idiot with the things I say because I cannot relax. I just feel stupid, and like it ruins the time we spend hanging out, because I hardly talk.. never know what to say.. and whatever I do say comes out stupid. I have noticed more and more.. that I have become increasingly shy around other people as well. I guess I just have crappy social skills.

Is there any way I can get over this?

I was curious to know other peoples goals, in comparison to mine. I need to write a paper on my goals, and I'm not so sure what mine are.

everyone has their own smell....

my question is why do people feel inclinded to bath in perfume/colonge to cover up "their" smell?

perfume/cologne doesn't smell natural
...yet natural = stink?

I like to smell nice, I have plenty of perfumes and body splashes...but is it really necessary?...

why are people offended by natural odors.

In Europe (i've read), people aren't as 'hygiene crazy' as Americans. They just smell like themselves, and it's socially acceptable.

What would we do if cover up's werent available on the market?

I ask this because personally I'm hygiene crazy; and I have to make sure I smell good before stepping out the house....I just don't understand why lol...

i know weird question lol...

But I appreciate unique personal smells, because I know everyone is unique and we all don't smell the same.

*im not talking about foul odors...just odors :) *

Can someone with autism be aware of their condition if they are autistic (not Asperger's)? For instance, if someone uses introspection to reach the conclusion they have either, does that mean they in reality don't have it or simply have the ability to be profound enough in their self-awareness to realize they do?

I have always been the type to worry about everything but its never gone past more than just a thought in my head that usually disapears quite quickly.
I recently took a trip thru latin america/mexico and loved it but
upon my return my mind has been inundated with anxiety and depressive thoughts, i constantly think about how old i am and worry that i wont achieve the things i want by a certain age.
I worry about my parents and their health, and everything i say makes me think that i am going crazy.
Lately these thoughts are affecting me and making me feel suicidal at times and beyond all im actually scared of how i feel and worry i might never recover.
Can a phychiatrist help me? is this just a phase in my life and i will come out of it ok? anyone out there can help please do and i will be forever grateful.
Thank you all for reading.

my situation is that i don't know how to talk to people my age and i feel that it had to do with my past. i was born differently then most and so i had faced some tremendous obsticles being born differently then others. i was teased and was always tryin to fit in with different crowds because i wanted to be accepted by others.
throughout my life it was very difficult to wake up and to know that this would never end. now i feel that i am in a better place then before and however there are some pieces of my past left in me. because i'm very cautious with people hurting my feelings and so forth i don't comunicate much with others and it has gotten to the point where i feel like i can't comunicate with family members and people in school. because i act this way, people get the wrong impression of me without thinkin that i might be a shy person so my question is how do i get over my low self esteem and show people who i'm really am ? i find it so hard to get out of this, how do i do it ?

Hi everybody and thanks for helping me!!
My friend and me used to get closer several times...when it happened it was something very special, beautiful. But particularly from the last time we got closer he became very distant.. I told him I felt so sensitive with him and asked why he was distant. he said" I don't want to go any further cause I don't want to mess it up"
We saw each other again, with friends.. nothing happened but he always keeps an eye on me..when I notice it he looks down.. Last time my friends wanted to talk with my contacts on my computer, I didn't agree but he was behind me, he hold my hands for a long time, I felt that strange... Now he jokes with me again...kindly.. but it was long time since he last joked with me! And yesterday I went to a party and he asked me "how was it?" What did you do after it ?""what time did you go back home?"
According to you what does it means? Is he trying to give me a sign? How can I do? I want him!
PS: he's single, but soooo shy!
