You get Deja Vu from memories that stir in your mind when a certain characteristic reminds you of them. Like I used to get Deja vu whenever I say a red boat because I remembered the time I went to a party on one. It happens to me about once every two weeks.

Deja vu means that your on your right life path. It's a good thing. We chart our life path before our soul enters the body we've chosen. So things being familiar means your on target. Read "The Other Side and Back" or The Power of Karma" ,might help u understand more.

actually, i get deja vu a lot... the funny thing is, a lot of times i get deja vu about things that i'm experiencing for the first time! for example, i'll be in a classroom at school that i've never been in before, and i'll look at something distinct (such as a pink pencil sharpener or something), and get deja vu! it's very odd. plus, i'll have the feeling that i've not only seen that object once before, but dozens of times!
...maybe i see this stuff in dreams? =]

Hardly ever these days! I feel I have grown out of it... remember the Matrix... It happens when something in your life has been changed and is not exactly the way it is meant to be! A little like making the same mistake again! Annoying ha?

When I was a kid, I'd get it about 3-6 times a week. Now its maybe once or twice a year.

Strange as it is, every couple of days. I''ll be pulling into a parking spot or at the bank, sometimes talking to my hubby and I know what he's going to say. It's weird.
