'I have never had a "hero" per say, until recently, Hero is a very strong word. A hero to me is like someone that saved my life, or someone else's. I have used it as an expression, "Your my Hero" because they got me out of the house to go play golf or something. I think people can also be Hero's even if they don't affect your life so much as what they do for so many others. I know a young girl that is one of these people. She wakes up every day with a smile on her face. She doesn't worry about what she needs, but first thinks what she can do for someone else who is in need. People make fun of her but she still loves them. She is always thinking about what she can do next to help someone. Not about what she needs. She wants to save the world! And she probably will someday. She is my HERO!
She has also affected my life in a very positive way. I am truly blessed to know her.

A hero is a person who reaches out to help another person without thinking about personal injury, financial gain, or any other risk. The reaction because a human is in need and they have the ability to help.

Though I don't have a hero, I do honor a recent homeless man in Las Vegas who along with other homeless men saw a car run over a ten year old. He and his friends ran and lifted the huge car off the child. The child survived and is no longer in the hospital. THAT is a hero.

In my opinion a hero is someone who in all odds, looks out for the best interests of others, a hero doesn't have to save someone from a burning building to be considered a hero, to me the emotional strength someone shows makes them a true hero. Soemone who can packup and leave a abusive relationships even when feeling secure to give a better life for there child, Some who selflessly throws away a complete regard for there saftey to ensure another human being is saved, well adjusted, emotionally and physically.

May sound cheesy but my mother is my hero, through hard times, she protected her children from certaint things knowing this would cause reprecussions on to her, and she done it anyway.

A hero is not just someone who risk their lives but it someone that took a place in your heart and took their time and wisdom to do something for you whether u believe in them or they just saved your life....i don't have a hero because my impression throughout the world makes it seem that everyone is a bad person because at one time in their life there is the part where they do something bad or against humanity and nature.

A hero is someone who is willing to return a cellphone that they find in the back of a cab. Because of this, my hero is Ron Bennington.
