possibly has some other mental disorder. Please read these things about him and let me know what you suggest :

My brother is 25 years old. He had a bad temper at times when he was a young child (started around 6 years old or so... as far as I can remember). He became fuming mad if his team lost their game...he'd pitch a fit all the way home, per our parents. He would get agitated very easily by friends and I witnessed him chasing a boy 2 years old than him around the front yard and my brother's face was red and he was distrought. Episodes never lasted long. Then he began to get into serious trouble when he was 13 years old. He would steal CDs and clothes from the mall with his friends. He told us later that he actually sold marijuana at that young of an age and that some local police officers got him and his friend involved in that business of drug dealing. He continued to sell marijuana and eventually other drugs and he also was a user, but not heavily.

He always had huge wads of money in his pocket and his classmates referred to him as a "pimp". Our parents were always very involved in his life and upbringing and his dad coached ball for my brother's teams. My brother lost interest in school and barely graduated. He always had lots of friends but eventually turned away from the good kids and stuck with the wilder crowd. He still had some good friends who went on to get good jobs, etc. but he stuck to HIS ways, too. He says he's addicted to the drug-dealing/gangster lifestyle. He's wrecked almost every car he's owned...which our parents helped or bought every one. He totaled 3 cars in 5 weeks, with barely any injuries to himself. He got DUIs. He has been to jail several times over the few years. He shoves food into his mouth and eats so fast. He is impatient and anxious. He can't stay focused. He has sudden anger rages but then becomes loving and apologetic. He lies a lot. He scares me and the family at times. He's trying to do better

It might be Bipolar but he sounds more personality disordered than anything. Unfortunately, there is not much that can be done if it is a PD. Similar individuals are incredibly hard to treat and their lifestyle in ingrained. They are not interested in helping themselves nor are they insightful enough to even see that a problem exists. They worry the people that care about them more than they worry themselves.
At 25 years old, he is probably set in his ways and will not stop this behavior until he gets locked up. And even then, that just adds a whole new dimension to his condition since he will be surrounded with other people who are also enamored with the criminal lifestyle.
I'm sorry to sound so grim but there is really no hope I can give you from your description. You can try to get him to go to counseling and/or take medication. It might help if he is willing but my guess is that he won't be. I'm so sorry.

You're brother does not sound like he suffers from bi-polar disorder. If you are interested, look at personality disorders. I don't think he meets the criteria for any in particular but does exhibit features of both antisocial personality and borderline personality. There are many helpful books for people who have personality disordered family and friends. I would recommend checking one out at your local library to better understand him and learn how to cope with his problems.

Your parents should take your brother to be assessed by a psyic. doctor he needs to be checked out by a professional it seems he has scizophrenia which can be very dangers if not treated. And becomes worst with age as they get older there is to much frustration built up of why they feel that way and no one understands them. Do you have a history of mental illness in your family and if so talk to your family to get him help.God Bless
