Technology is beginning to take over. Though it is good one has to wonder how long this prosperity will last. Most Americans have no idea what to do in the worst case senario i.e. nuclear attacks. What do you all think about this situation?

(putting this question up again as I chose the wrong words to express myself and the question was deleted)
There is this girl who can get into people's minds, pulling experiences and memories from them under the guise of "helping them", until they tell her that "if she does it again, then there will be pain for her", and then she verbally and astrally attacks them. She constantly tries to be the centre of attention, and will "ping" you constantly if you do not pay attention to her, will try to shatter your aura if you go against her in any way, and try to turn your friends against you by making herself the "better option" while slagging you off, all while implanting her own energy into you . Now the turning friends against me thing only works while she is in contact with them. Keep the friends away from her and things go back to normal. I'm not an uber psychic, and all I can do is block her out. What are my other options to make her go away and leave us alone? (more....)

NEW DELHI, India -- An Indian runner who won a silver medal in the women's 800 meters at the Asian Games failed a gender test and was stripped of the medal.

Shanti Sounderajan, 25, took the gender test in Doha, Qatar, after placing second.

The Indian Olympic Association said Monday it has been told by the Olympic Council of Asia that the 25-year-old runner was disqualified. "IOA has asked the Athletic Federation of India to return the medal as desired by the Olympic Council of Asia," the Indian Olympic group said.

The IOA also asked its medical commission to inquire into Sounderajan's case and report within 10 days.

There are no compulsory gender tests during events sanctioned by track and field's international ruling body, but athletes may be asked to take a gender test. The medical evaluation panel usually includes a gynecologist, endocrinologist, psychologist and internal medicine specialist.

An Indian athletics official who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media said Sounderajan almost certainly never had sex-change surgery.

Instead, the official said Sounderajan appeared to have "abnormal chromosomes." The official also said the test revealed more Y chromosomes than allowed.

Sounderajan was not immediately available for comment.

No this is not one of those "dream interpretations" crap, I don't believe that bull.

Anyway, I wanted to know if this happens to anyone else or not. Sometimes, when I have dreams, when they're over, and when I'm half awake and half asleep, I get this deja-vu thing that gives me this feeling that I have had the dream before or that the dream has happened before in real life...even though I had that dream for the first time and I'm sure it hasn't happened in real life. What does that mean? I'm not really good at explaining but the dreams some of my dreams seem very familiar to me that when I wake up it feels like I've that dream before or something.

Or am I going nuts?...schizo?...some kind of brain problem?

Alright so I asked my mom if I could have someone to talk to you know like a counselor because I was dealing with a lot of issues. So she got me a therapist at first the reason why I was going was clear I'm kinda anxious and went through something. But now its all turned against me and apparently this crazy broad (therapist) is trying to tell my mom that I'm an alcoholic and really freaking her out. Shes printing off all these papers about where I am and how its affecting my life yada yada yada. well one- I never went there for a drinking problem and two- I dont have a drinking problem!! So now I'm thinking about calling it quits with the therapy.. should I?

i am only in my first year in college and i am majoring in psychology. i sometimes wonder how difficult it is to get a psychologist position after graduate school. for those who are actually employed as psychologists, how is your workplace/working environment setup?

I tend to remember every little detail. It plays like a movie in my mind. I can remember colors (or lack thereof; one dream was entirely in shades of gray), dialogue, and even the random characters that don't exist in real life.
However, if my alarm goes off and I jump out of bed, I only remember one or two scenes.
What are dreams like for everyone else?

I know this would be easier and you would have a different answer if you knew him but what do you do when your boyfriend messed up alot and you broke up alot but you really think he is different now? he gives you his password, tells you that you can call anytime. We are engaged now and he does seem different this time even my friend thinks so because she hangs out with us sometimes. When we break up he does tell different girls at a time he loves them but he tells them we are engaged now and have a baby on the way. If a girl calls his cell phone and i'm with him he tells them he is with his girlfriend. Should i just tell him he really does need help? What do i do? I wanna be with him. He is with me 24/7 except tonight he went to a concert but i didn't want to go because i don't like that music and i am sick. Do you think getting help will work? if he loved me, he wouldn't have had spent all the money on me for the ring. I have lots of proof he really did buy it the other night. HELP!

In other words do you think it's better to be considered "normal" and work a job and just scrape by,(like the majority of middle class America) or to seek a legit business opportunity that can have a 6-7 figure income potential that is out side the traditional corporate structure and may not be seen as the norm.

You know when you see people, and you think, they are outstanding....what is the essence of what they have?

Is it different for different people, as I suspect?
