Please stop saying volunteer work. If I am already depressed do you think working with sick people is really gonna help my outlook on life. I don't think so.

sounds like you have been taking care of people all your life and that you do not know what to do with yoruself now that you are on your own. Time to start taking care of yourself and doing things that you enjoy. There are plenty of people that need you....start volunteering, become involved in a worthwhile cause....there are so many causes and so little time to make a difference when you are working full time and taking care of a family. Spend some quiet time thinking about what you really want to do with your life and how you can make a difference.

Don't you need you? There that is one person you need to worry about yourself. Go to the hospital and volunteer or to a childrens hospital and I am very sure you will be needed than and also you will stop feeling sorry for your self and more thankful to life of what you have. You can leave the hospital, alot of them can't. Just a thought.

i have felt like this before, sometimes it seems like there is no one who needs you and what i do is think of something good you can do. for example, helping out with a chariy of some kind. i doubt that you are completley unneeded, there has to be someone but f you insist that this is true. do good deeds, they make you feel important and warm. the world needs more people to help out and make up for the people who do nothing. after i felt the way you did i decided to commit the rest of my life to helping people in need, because there are people in need, that could really need you.

If volunteering is out, find things that you enjoy and immerse yourself in those things, sometimes hobbies will help you make friends and in turn you will eventually come to find that you are having an impact on someones life.

You may not be needed for a moment or two but with out you life would crash around the people that love you. Yes there are plenty of people that love you and someday you will have wonderful life. Don't let one moment in time turn you sour.
