Is it better to be seen as cool and broke or not cool and financially independent?

Question

In other words do you think it's better to be considered "normal" and work a job and just scrape by,(like the majority of middle class America) or to seek a legit business opportunity that can have a 6-7 figure income potential that is out side the traditional corporate structure and may not be seen as the norm.

Financially independent is very cool. I say reach for the sky and fulfill your capacity rather being a thug and barely scraping by. You will have more respect for yourself and so will others.

I think it's pretty freaking cool to be financially independent. I'd rather be a nerd and not have to worry about money. Nobody wants to scrape by.

but if you are broke and you have friends nothing else matters. pick friends over money.

everyone eventually dies but would you rather die with a bar of gold in your hand or have a friend at your side? thats what i think...

but then again if you have lots of money the friends and coolness come with it. (sometimes) dont worry about it too much. :)

really the answer comes down to personal prefference. many of the answers will vary im sure to this question. personally, the 7 figure income is what im striving for.

if you can 'see' yourself at the 'above the rest',good for you;
what change in this statement is not what you say,is how
you are going to achieve this non traditional working structure
so you can be considered successful in business,GO FOR IT!!!!
