No this is not one of those "dream interpretations" crap, I don't believe that bull.

Anyway, I wanted to know if this happens to anyone else or not. Sometimes, when I have dreams, when they're over, and when I'm half awake and half asleep, I get this deja-vu thing that gives me this feeling that I have had the dream before or that the dream has happened before in real life...even though I had that dream for the first time and I'm sure it hasn't happened in real life. What does that mean? I'm not really good at explaining but the dreams some of my dreams seem very familiar to me that when I wake up it feels like I've that dream before or something.

Or am I going nuts?...schizo?...some kind of brain problem?

i know EXACTLY what you're talking about! there's been times while half asleep, dozing in and out, i would dream and could swear its happened before. often w/ my dreams like this i'll feel as if i'm in a real situation or environment and will get really worked up (angry/upset/etc). alot of times the only way i come out of it is if i notice something within the dream that is just ridiculously out of place. these dozing dreams always seem realistic or as if they've happened before.

I believe I've had similar experiences. And no you're most likely not schizophrenic or going nuts. If I had to make an educated guess on to why that happens, it's probably because you're half-awake and you realize your dreaming. I believe that since your dream has been interrupted your brain or conscious is confusing your dream with reality hence the deja-vu feeling.

Dreams don't mean anything. It's a biological thing. Check www.howstuffworks.com on Deja Vu.

I had the oppisite. I thought that I dreamt something that just happened. But it turned out I was in a similar environment that my brain thought was the same. I'd assume you just had a very similar dream.

I've had EXACTLY that... where i'm sure i've dreamt the dream before, even though i think it's the first time, and i am unsure as to whether it really is the first time, or i have dreamt it before but not consciously recognised that fact...

It's really, really, realllllllllllllllllllly deep, and it screws my head up!

Sometimes in my dreams, i dream about having that dream before, and that just gets really, really confusing...

It's normal... fear not friendo!

Minds are tricky things. There are things we cannot explain. And in your case, it is one of them.
