Anyways it was talking about female vs male sexuality
and h ow a guy theorized that the female really choses
the mate not the male, just like in the animal kingdom
the females chose the mate.

There are people who still fornicate unprotected. There are guys who ride motorcycles at 180mph. There are people get drunk and drive all the time. These people have the "It wont happen to me" attitude. They know bad stuff happens they just don't think it can happen to them. They seem so happy and care free. How does one become like this if only for a short while?

when the time comes for college they decide that they are not going to pay. You are stuck with the bill and when arguing with them they say it is not their responsability to pay for college your 18. It is a privilage if we pay for your college not a right that we have to.

I must have been about 4 or 5 when I learned about death from my friend who was about the same age and I remember feeling awakened, shocked, and I couldn't believe it, but accepted it.
What about you?

In a world that is globalized and interconnected in so many different ways, it leaves one wondering what threatens us as individuals and as a society. What are the greatest harms to our physical and mental well beings? I'm just curious what everyone might think; although this question is vague, I think it has a lot of different implications.

I know that the childs inborn temperment and the mother's sensitivity has a lot to do with the quality of attachment, but isn't it the mother's responsibility to make sure she creates a stable environment for her child to develop that secure attachment?
Only intelligent answers please, I don't need to be more confused than I already am

My stop is coming up on the train. I say to the woman next to me, excuse me this is my stop. She looks at me with this absolute look of dread in her eyes. I am about to find out why. Unbeknownst to me she had packed herself into the seat in a manner reminiscent of the game Tetris. In order for her to get out of my way she had to first extricate herself from the luggage fortress she had built around herself. Once I was freed from this I started looking at all of the women getting off of the train. Most of them had a bag slung over each arm and many were also pulling a piece of luggage, the one with wheels. The only women who had just one bad were the students who had a neatly packed book bag on. The rest of these women all looked like they were heading for the airport. What is going on here?

They just stated they are trying to pass a bill that a fetus over 20 weeks does feel pain from an abortion and that the mother will have to sign a document stating that she will accept anethesia or not for the fetus (baby). She can reject this for the baby/fetus....does this not sound like death row with out a choice for an individual? Should it not be mandatory?
Do you think that if it is PROOVEN to cause pain that this is not a form of murder at this point?
We have people who are on death row who commit violent crimes and they "peacefully" get put to death(although there is nothing peaceful about being "put" death)....why not an innocent child?

What are your thoughts? It's really sad : (

I have to get everything done?
If I want to sit down, relax and enjoy myself I can't unless I make sure everything I want done is done and I don't feel better unless I do. Example- cleaning something up, straightening things, etc. Sometimes I don't even know what I have to get done, but I have that anxious feeling so I look around to find what it is. Are there any ways to make me feel better so that I can sit down, relax and watch a movie and enjoy it?
It's not really work, it's just silly things around the house that other people probably don't worry about when they are going to sit down and watch a movie.

Has anyone ever heard of the word discomfitting? Someone used that word in our email conversation and I assumed they meant discomforting. I challenged that person's intellect and I was incorrect. It was a valid word and I have no way of telling that person I apologize. I've never felt more stupid and embarrassed in my life. I am an educated man with a degree in Business and I couldn't even confirm the validity of a word used in our English language. I am a man who admits when he is wrong and I wanted to apologize to that person, wherever they may be.

How do we numb and blind ourselves to the absolute outcomes of destructive behavior? Please give me any wisdom you have come to in order kill your demons before they kill me.

if you have ever found yourself in a group of people speaking a language that you don't understand?" And this is our sense of the mountain of knowledge required to effectively use oral language. This is a crucial means of communicating with others and a powerful tool for thinking, solving problems, and making decisions, language plays a vital role in our daily experiences. Cognition also raises questions about intelligence in both people and machines. The efforts to measure human intelligence also raise a number of ethical concerns; such as is it fair to measure something so personal as intelligence? Who should have access to the resulting scores? and Are IQ tests biased against minority groups? The cornerstone of cognitive research is the study of our fascinating memory capacity. And although human memory is fallible and is less predictable than a computers, there are several important factors that improve your ability to retain materials. From the other section I have personally gained that using the principles of memorizing such as: focusing on meaning and personal relevance, visualizing, paying attention to structure, identifying and using retrieval cues, and practice spaced rehearsal can help with memorizing scripture and any other topic we may have interest in.

Okay, so my boyfriend died 4 years ago in a wreck, I was really young, I ended up dating someone else and got married, never really got over my ex and didn't get to tell him bye. I've been having a lot of dreams about him and last night I dreamed that I started dating his brother and we were going to all these places together (his brother actually hated me in real life, and I hated him though). But we were driving down this dirt road and I every time I looked at him, I couldn't decide if it was him or my ex, they looked sorta the same, and then he left me in this town, and finally came back. It was weird, can't remember all of it but just parts. I have dreams about my ex all the time, what do you think it means?

i have seen a psychiatrist and psychologist and have been diagonised with social anxiety .i am currently on anti-depressantsand i also practice deep muscle relaxation techniques and breathing exercises.i have got abit better but i have a problem with my 'fight or flight reflex'.i feel like i cannot cope anymore.when i walk in quiet streets or places and a car just appears suddenly or a person looks at me i jerk, almost running away, move really quickly(sort of an adrenaline surge).i don't have much of a problem with crowded places as i just blend in.when i am walking in hallways and someone appears the same happens.when people enter rooms that i am in(when they get me unaware) i jump and feel like running away.it is an automatic response and it has become part of me.i have been signed off work as i was always been kicked out of jobs and everyone thlnks that i am an idiot.i just cannot control it and people are always gossiping and i have become a laughing stock.what do i do?
