if you have ever found yourself in a group of people speaking a language that you don't understand?" And this is our sense of the mountain of knowledge required to effectively use oral language. This is a crucial means of communicating with others and a powerful tool for thinking, solving problems, and making decisions, language plays a vital role in our daily experiences. Cognition also raises questions about intelligence in both people and machines. The efforts to measure human intelligence also raise a number of ethical concerns; such as is it fair to measure something so personal as intelligence? Who should have access to the resulting scores? and Are IQ tests biased against minority groups? The cornerstone of cognitive research is the study of our fascinating memory capacity. And although human memory is fallible and is less predictable than a computers, there are several important factors that improve your ability to retain materials. From the other section I have personally gained that using the principles of memorizing such as: focusing on meaning and personal relevance, visualizing, paying attention to structure, identifying and using retrieval cues, and practice spaced rehearsal can help with memorizing scripture and any other topic we may have interest in.

Sounds like a question to me.

I would respond to the thoughts on language. I think it is very difficult to even have certain thoughts depending on what language you are having them in. I don't speak Japanese but I am told that it is easier to understand Einstein's relativity if you do. It was suggested to me that it had to do with the non subject-predicate logical construction of sentences. Apparently westerners are (or were before Einstein taught us) at a disadvantage in viewing light as a particle and a wave. Predicate based logic steers us toward either/or and absolutes. Where conclusions in Japanese might more easily accept alternatively fused ways of thinking.

Makes me wonder what thoughts haven't occurred to me because I don't speak Kiswaheli or Martian.
