I don't need to be a "millionaire" but I would like to be able to pay off my family's debt. You know, give my parents the retirement they deserve. To be debt free.

I hate to admit it but as a server I was obsessed with getting tips. Even as a chef, I was obsessed with getting the best meal that day at work and getting my cheque or tip-out. Now I have a job I like a lot more and am getting trained to become a DJ. I don't think so much about getting paid. Of course, I like the money in my pocket and hope to make more, but I appreciate a company that I can grow with. The boss agreed to give me more hours. I would probably like five days a week for six and a half hours a day. Easy. I will do the DJing on the side, maybe half and hour to an hour five days a week. See money comes when you need it. I believe we will get more, but I am not obsessed with it anymore. I was never the type to be like, oh, I have to make millions or hundreds of thousands. I am not jealous and don't lust after money. But since I have started to worry less, I seem to have more.

Yes I'd :LOVE to become a millionaire.. i know all u said is true but i believe that pleasure is better than sadness, people r better than NOBODY, medicine is better than dying, home is better than shelters and a bed of gold is better than sleeping on the ground!!!

What if you derive happiness from pleasure? I stopped believing in love a long time ago. Money will always be money. Money does not say I love you and then go out and catch VD to bring home to you. Money does not smile in your face while messing around behind your back. Money like friends does not lie to you. I trust money to be what it is, money.

i'd deal with pleasure, people, medicine, a home and a bed of gold. i look at it this way....i'm not happy now. so, if i have millions and i'm still not happy, i'm no worse off. i can just drown my sorrows in mindless shopping.
