Why do we smoke, over eat,not exercise,do drugs, abuse alcohol, sleep deprive ourselves, overwork, procrastinate, etc. I do some of these things and I clearly know the outcome if I don't change. Is this like a suicide thing? How do we numb and blind ourselves to the absolute outcomes of destructive behavior? Please give me any wisdom you have come to in order kill your demons before they kill me.
