Do you take it seriously? what I mean is, do you feel that your opinion is invalidated by some prick that would rather laff at you than just let you help?

when someone is having a hard time and they need my help, I get scared and I don't know what to say/do. So I completely shut down. what can I do to solve this problem?

I also have trouble communicating with people in general, when I'm in pain or if I need help.

I feel frustrated with myself because it's not easy for me. I am a cutter (meaning I self injure by cutting myself) This has a lot to do with this problem, too, since I feel alone. I know it's my fault.

Do you tell him/her nicely bearing in mind that it might lead to a row or do you just ignore and learn to cope with it especially if it's a part of him/her and they are finding it hard to change.
I think it's hard to change any human being because you are who you are however if certain mannerisms/attributes/behaviour are affecting others negatively on a constant basis, then you have to make a change, what do you think?

As people, we pursue being happy. You see advertising that shows happy faces and we think that if we buy that thing we will be happy. But if that was the secret to being happy, after we buy it, wouldn't we STAY happy?

So, in your opinion, how do you achieve happiness?

Maybe they should be a law to limit artificial intelligences in machines and computers and stopping them from becoming self aware.

Don't get me wrong...I am not possessed or anything. I am fairly coherent. It's just that I watched a documentary on demonic possession and I am really shocked (traumatised more like it) from all the facts and pictures from the documentary. I am really scared and every night I keep thinking of the demonic images that keep cropping up into my mind! I am a Christian so the comfort of God's love is soothing but I think this is more of a psychological problem than a spritual one. How do I get over this?

I mean, I don't like people in general and I don't like listen to their problems and opinions. I don't like talking a lot. I have a few good friends though, but because I generally don't trust people it makes hard for me to meet new ones. What's wrong with me?
