It is true that colors influence your mood. Also, when getting dressed in the morning, your mood affects what color you want to wear. Also when you shop, you will gravitate toward certain colors depending on your mood.
color preferences, to some extent, express one's personality and/or characteristics. (but only in the most general sense ex. red= forceful, powerful, take-charge; blue=calm ; again, these are generalizations, people are much more complex)

Yes! Proof of this is on grocery store shelves, marketing ads, baby toys, etc. Primary colors are used for children's toys because they draw the eye the quickest, Pastel colors are used to represent feminity and newborns because they are subtle and soft. A bedroom with dark wood floors and brick-red walls would indicate warmth while a bedroom with marble floors and cool chinese-red walls would create a mood of power and excitement. You can evoke nature and relaxation with green and brown and, of course, blue. You can make a room look sunshiney with yellow. It would be difficult to sleep in a mango orange bedroom because the color sets an exciting mood. It depends on the tone and intensity of these colors. I love to play with color in my house this way but I gotta say, I got some funky-lookin' rooms hehehe.

No color has nothing to do with your mood.
If your mood is good and you are internally happy, you will like all colors and all colours will suit you.
But if you are in bad mood or sad mood, feeling pain somewhere in your heart........you will not like any colour and no colour will make you happy.
Our society has made some rules about colours like
Red for the bride,
Black or white to show sad feeings,
orange for saints
etc etc......
Green for Binladin............lol.........

Absolutely.....Colors have certain Vibrations.....From the lowest Red or the R in ROY G BIV to the highest which is Violet.......Emotions and moods have the same vibrations.......this can also tie to the Yogi understandings of Chakras.....each one has a color from the lowest root Chakra Red to the Highest Crown Chakra (White).....pure in its essence.
