Yes, I have, and I didn't give up (wel, recent a bit, but didn't give up because God is there for us)
Back in y2k, jobs were blooming, after 9/11, lay-offs after lay-offs, that is the great depression of my life, got heavy mortage to pay, family to feed. and I was out 8 months unemployment! God worked his mysterious way, got a job (not as good as before though) but I was content and 2 years later, changed job and got 2 jobs. Enough to make up all the losses. You will just have to have faith. Things will be better!
Don't take pills, they only make you worse. You have to think positive, go to Jesus Christ, he may help you. Find a Christian church, you will seek all the help God can provide.

Same thing happened to me almost like it was from a script in a movie....My advice don't accept any more invites to the "Pity Party" cause guess what you'll be the only one there (symapthy can only help you so much....then U become a junkie)........I'm not Christian but I do refer to Jesus once and a while......Jesus was a Carpenter and many people should learn from his life b/c he is an ascended Master of this planet (ignoring the religious element).....Carpenters build things.....In this case the you are being given the opportunity to rebuild your life.....U may have been unhappy with the old one deep down inside or maybe your path is to greater things wether U like it or not....Many times we gravitate towards what we fear....and until we can look that fear straight in the face and see its an illusion....until then we will be ruled by it.....Then when the fear is faced your power is returned to you.....giving you the opportunity to soar higher than the first time you were "perfect".....At this point U realize that the crappy handd of cards U were dealt was actually a great gift.......The saying I always lean on in those times is "great things always come wrapped in the Crapiest Packages, Once we open the package we realize its not so crappy afterall. Hang in there life can be fun if you give yourself permission to have it...

Listen to me!!!! I have been where you are. You have been hit hard. Life is trying to beat the sh***t out of you. You have two roads. Some people choose suicide, they let their marriage fail, they lose their relationships, they become lost in drugs or alcohol. Basically, they lose the very things that motivated them to want to succeed to begin with. Will you take it laying down like that? FIGHT, DAMMIT!!! Get off the dam pills, they are going to steal your very soul, I promise you. Feel it, feel everything. Let it wash over you and then decide by sheer force that you will NOTwallow in self pity, REFUSE to give your life up because you got kicked in the head. We were meant to feel pain, to feel disappointment so that we could know pleasure and happiness. You don't get one without the other. Live to see a better day, don't get lost in this thing. Devise a plan in your head. Something to work toward. God, it is hard. But if you start getting your plan in action, you will find you have less time to regret what was and more energy to focus on what could be. Yes, there are many people that will tell you to take a pill and it will all be better, it is just my personal philosophy and experience that in the end it never really helped anything. My prayers are with you.

"at one point the things you own will own you."
yeah, i did the same thing as you... rich to poor. but i'm now back on the upswing working my way back.
it'll take time, i'll do it. it won't happen overnight. i might not get to where i was but i'll do ok. there's more to life then what i own.
been there dude... it fecking sucks, but you'll feel better once you get back on the path to having a daily pattern again. i was you about 2 years ago, except at the same time as i lost everything, my mother died, then my best friend died and a bunch of other things along with my youngest child being disabled.
one step at a time, in the future this will be in the past. just don't sit still cause that's when the bad thoughts control you...

It is not the times that you fall down that counts but the times that you have stood up after each fall. Life is likened to a wheel, sometimes you are up, sometimes you are down, it is a constant challenge. But think that day always follow night. it can never be night forever. and a storm will always pass, no matter how long it will take, one things is very certain, the sun is always shining above the clouds of storm. Things happen for a reason. Look at this as a challenge to develop your personality. Be positive about it. This will make you stronger and more resilient. Never give up. You are always a winner when you don't. Choose the correct attitude.

It happened to me, well to my parents which obviously made me live it. It's hard and I don't think I had it all before I just think my parents were happier because they didn't have to worry so much. Without money you discover if you had friends or not, because if you had they'll accept your new situation and still treat you as equal and not a charity case. My family and myself we don't have what we use to have (money speaking) but we are doing OK the bills get paid on time and we can buy the stuff we want every now and then (stuff you don't really need but you still want blame publicity or peer pressure on that one ha ha)
I don't know if you'll recover what you had economically speaking, but you still have to fight and maybe one day you'll be able to save up and realize one day you gained it all back. The first thing get a job right away and one where you think you can be great at.

properly, first of all, the adverse do not inevitably stay adverse and the wealthy do not inevitably stay wealthy. that is more advantageous sturdy for someone from a adverse kinfolk to type-bounce because they're a lot less probably to have the business and social help mandatory to take action, even though it actually isn't not plausible. wealthy households have a tendency to correctly worth preparation more advantageous because they (the mummy and father) have a tendency to be more advantageous knowledgeable themselves, and they bypass those values on to their toddlers. also they're more advantageous suited able to pay for his or her youngster's preparation, etc. even as there are scholarships and different economic help structures in position to assist the adverse get more advantageous suited educations and become more advantageous financially sturdy, the easy shown truth that their mom and father are a lot less probably to position fee on preparation places them at a draw back. And this is not that adverse each and anybody is lazy (How ought to you call someone who works 2 finished-time jobs to help their kinfolk lazy?). i'm not affirming that they don't care, they only have a diverse attitude. also, scholarships have a tendency to bypass to the perfect scholars, so an popular adverse pupil ought to have very restricted opportunities so a techniques as financing preparation.

I came from abject poverty. I made it big and lost it all and then I made it back again. I even quit working when I was in my 40's to complete my education. It is never too late, unless you are one of the crybabies. Depressed? Get off of the computer and go to work and start over.

a man's life does not consist in the abundance of things he has
what shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul.(mark8:36, Luke 9:25)
if you want a rich rewarding and fulfilling life then turn to God.
