That's how I feel. I'm only 21 and people say that my thinking will change with age, but I seriously doubt it. I don't really understand or care for children and the thought of being a father scares me a little. Maybe its selfish, but I'd prefer to live my life with the focus on me. When I talked to my mother about this, she was kind of dissapointed or saddened. Is something wrong with me?

I have an extreme fear when it comes to mice. I fear them dead or alive. If I were to set a trap for a mouse and the mouse got caught I would be unable to even pick up the trap. I can't even stand to see a picture of a mouse. I was in a Lowe's and looking at pest repellants for mice and on one of the boxes was an illustration of mice running away. I couldn't even but the product because of the mice being on the box. I feel my phobia is severe and I need help.

It has not been proven to be natural or biological. it could very well be a mental disorder...ehy do we consider this notion bogus. Petafiles are seen as mentally ill people. A lot of people that consider thmselves gay or bisexual have a history of sexual abuse...this is a fact....and why is it a fad for girls to be bisexual. I heard something like 35% of girls 18-21 consider themselves bisexual in US colleges

I had a dream last night I was walking by myself down a long straight street. It was late at night, must have been past midnight. It was definately an urban environment there was a lot of dark buildings and litter on the street. I passed by some sketchy people and I was feeling uneasy. I walked past a woman who was missing one eye and had her tounge stuck out like a dog. It really creeped me out and as soon as I passed her I started running. I looked further ahead and there were no street lights and I still had a ways to go. I took out my cell phone and stood in the front of a run down store. It had some nice looking people inside and lights and I felt safe. I was calling my mom to come and pick me up because I was scared. Next thing I know i'm awake.

(background info in my life - I've changed my life around quite a lot, broke it off with some men who didn't treat me right, stopped seeing certain friends, moved back in with my mom, started university, very new lifestyle)

My professor has asked us to do this, but I'm having a little difficulty. My introduction alone is 102 words. I can shorten it, but I feel as if I'm ignoring much of the protocol for writing a proposal. Do you think she made a mistake? I know I'm being silly, but her 'tough' persona makes me reluctant to ask her this.

What do you think?

I mean, I didn't ask for it, but when we recently met she volunteered the information. She acted as if and didn't want any sex until marriage and we have never had sex.

It feels as if all this time she really was a virgin and now she lost it to other man. It feels like cheating.

I would have had no problem if she had told me before or simply avoiding saying what she said.

I saw the most beautiful golden wheat field gently rippling in the breeze. This field was of gigantic proportions, as large as California and Texas combined. I seemed to be floating just above the field and as I gazed downwards, I saw hands reaching up out of the wheat field. The hands were of all sizes and colors. They seemed to be trying to reach or grasp for something or someone.

I then saw a few people, perhaps a half dozen, go into the field and start to help those whose hands I saw grasping. Those they helped in the field also began helping others. This scene was really heartbreaking as there were so many who reached up and so few to help. Many more were missed and overlooked than were saved.

I then looked at the edges of the enormous field and saw much frantic activity. Construction workers were busily building large churches and big houses. I saw business people rushing to work and car dealerships selling expensive cars. They were all totally oblivious to the tragic scene in the wheat field. They rushed about as if nothing was wrong.

Earlier, I posed a simple enough question relating to primary socialization in order to extract psychologically valid and intelligent comments pertaining to attachment and deprivation or whether, or not, a child needs a mother.

Expecting, perhaps, reflective and scientifically valid reply, I was however deeply moved, touched even, by such devotional and emotional response that exhibited genuine love, storgic love and sentiment.

How wonderfully inspiring it was to acquire this knowlege from such well-balance, rounded and healthy individuals that together make this world a better place.

I have asked many questions and have furnished just as many replies and therefore would welcome your feedback to the question I have asked above.

As always your replies are held in the strictest of confidence, answers on a postcard, please!!!

I find all your input informative and highly entertaining.

Fondest regards

James.

some people fall in love easier during the happy times of their life, is this true too?

Some of my biggest problems in life come not from my inablity to deal with depression or a mania. Rather they come from a terrible ability to organize and to prioritize issues. I don't know where I got this or how I can learn to get rid of it. Do you think it might be a seconday symptom of bipolar?
