I saw the most beautiful golden wheat field gently rippling in the breeze. This field was of gigantic proportions, as large as California and Texas combined. I seemed to be floating just above the field and as I gazed downwards, I saw hands reaching up out of the wheat field. The hands were of all sizes and colors. They seemed to be trying to reach or grasp for something or someone.
I then saw a few people, perhaps a half dozen, go into the field and start to help those whose hands I saw grasping. Those they helped in the field also began helping others. This scene was really heartbreaking as there were so many who reached up and so few to help. Many more were missed and overlooked than were saved.
I then looked at the edges of the enormous field and saw much frantic activity. Construction workers were busily building large churches and big houses. I saw business people rushing to work and car dealerships selling expensive cars. They were all totally oblivious to the tragic scene in the wheat field. They rushed about as if nothing was wrong.

Doc, I hope you aren't mad at me for not choosing your answer as the best when I posted my last dream. Please take a look at this one when you can. Thanks.

First of all, I am not 100% in all dreams. It is okay not to rate my answers to be best. do not worry about that.
As for this dream,
Hands reach out = seeking for support
Usual business in the wheat field = Ignore support
It seems like you are trying to land some help to people and yet being ignored in some sort. The way you projected in this dream is to imply that in a normal and beautiful environment, you still see some unfairness and yet you are helpless in many ways.
I am not so sure about this dream. It may be triggered by some movie/book. In that case, it will be meaningless.
By the way, you do have good memories in your dreams!!

Howdy SuzieQ,
Your dream is very typical but expressed differently in different people. In your dream the wheat field represents the greatness and depth of YOUR generousity. The hands coming out of the wheat are the people to whom you give of yourself. Sometimes you feel overwhelmed by the request for help. The people offering help to the hands that reach out of the wheat are actually representations of you. Your are trying to help too many people at the same time. But you have to remember that some people take your help not because THEY need it , but because YOU offer it. These people are TAKERS and they see you as a SUCKER to be taken advantage of. These people can save themselves but they would rather have someone else do it for them. I think that you are begining to suspect this. The construction on the edges of the wheat field represents your life passing you by. It is everything that you are missing. It is everything that you do WITHOUT so that others can do WITH. You are floating (flying) above this scene because you are trying to remove or distance yourself from this . But you have a warm heart and you just can not stop giving of yourself.
My observation to you is that you MUST realize that not all people that have their hand out need help. Some of the people in your innermost circle, perhaps people that you call "friend" are USERS. You know who they are. Do not confront them. Just stop offering to help them. They are indifferent. Help those who give you the recognition the you need , the recognition that you deserve, the recognition the you have EARNED.
I hope this interpretation is of benefit to you and has touched your soul. I feel as if I have touched yours. Feel free to ask again.

At the epicenter of this fast train that we call life there are people who need help, people who are hurting, of whom we should remain cognizant. There are also those that move along pretending not to see pain by staying busy... on the outskirts, those that see just the facades of people and not deep into their souls.
You are obviously connected and a deep person. You see beyond the facades. Very interesting that you were above it all, looking down. That is indicative of the place & the feeling you have manifested in your life through your work here on earth. I would bet you are a very observant person as well.
Oh, if only everyone would help out in just one small way... we would all be so much richer!

One way is to use a set of test questions and not rely on just one::
1. Does the answer feel right?
2. Does the interpretation make sense?
3. Is there something useful I can do with this interpretation?
4. What would my mom or a truck driver have to say about this answer if I were to tell them?

A person’s life is full of dreams. Dream can be about one’s ambition which he gets fulfilled with the passage of time thru his own hard work, intelligence, good planning and with the blessings of Almighty. Another is day dreaming which is really not a good habit and can be controlled with one’s will power. But what about the dreams a person experiences during sleep. Do they hv effect in our real life? What do they mean? What is their interpretation? The person asks to his friends, elders and seniors in his social circle. Sometimes he gets satisfactory reply and sometimes not. These days Internet is a rich source of information. So one does not need to depend on others for one’s dream interpretation. The Yahanswerholics Community member suggests the following.

wow, powerful images!
The wheat probably symbolizes something healthy, safe, and nourishing . . .
the hands probably represent people in a safe place that are reaching for help because they know they are in danger
The volunteers probably are fairly literal - representing volunteers helping people in need.
The busy civilization could symbolize the modern world, and the way the developed nations are expanding and destroying symbolic places of safety and nourisment.
The fact that the people in the city are oblivious also seems telling - and fairly literal.
It could be the war in Iraq, global warming, the pace of development worldwide, something in your home town.
It also might all be symbolic of parts of yourself - that a part of your life that is symbolized by the beautiful wheat is being developd and replaced faster than you can save that part of yourself.
Good luck.

Sounds like a dream about life, people in need of the basic necessity's in life and others having them and not caring.
Sounds like the way things will be in the end of days also, very few knowing the right things to do, while the others are caught up in themselves.

Have you ever considered going into ministry, because I think that through this dream God is trying to show you that there are a lot of people in need, and like you said, most people don't notice or don't care. However, God put you in a position to be able to see what no one else was able to see. You were able to see people and their needs and because of your position you were able to help them. That's just what I think.
