Is it true that in order to be hypnotised you have to want to be hypnotised? Or is the other way around? That only people who don't want to be hypnotised can be? I'd love to be hypnotised just to see what it's like...x

you know this whole thing about 'rape'... there's a women screaming and totally not willing to have sex, and yet a man forcibly has sex with her....
How come the man's lust is more dominating?
What pleasure does it give a man who has sex with a women who's completely not interested in it?
Can any one tell me the psychological aspects of it....

Can anyone offer some good suggestions or ideas on how to stop biting fingernails. I am 43 and I have been doing it since I was in the third grade. It looks horrible and I don't like doing it. I feel that I do it for some sort of comfort, like some people eat for comfort. Any suggestions as to why I do this and how to stop would be greatly appreciated. Serious answers please!

i know someone that is constantly late...ive had a feeling that he's insecure about certain things, namly leadership and his need to take responsibility/charge....here's the interesting part- he's ALWAYS late for whatever comes up. honestly...absolutley everything you can imagine that comes up with 1, 2...a group of people. Whether one specific person's there or not, he'll be late. now i heard something interesting recently-someone said that be late forces others to wait for you...hence it gives you power. at a subconcious level, constantly being late i heard can be a sign of insecurities...
how valid is this statement???any thoughts?

So we start out as pond scum and work our way up to Apes through a long chain of events - so where will we go from here ?

Are we using our brains more or less that Grampa did ? I know we are using our body a lot less than he he did but with TV and all sorts of entertainment are we really questioning our suroundings anymore or are we enjoying them instead?
Will our thumbs spread to suit the computer mouse will we become taller shorter what is the next step and is it backwards? Will we evolve back into a more primitive being ?
