Am I just a sucker?

When I see a question about suicide, if it looks real I always try to answer. Anyone else? Sorry for the serious question folks, won't happen again.

I might be a shi t sometimes, but I'd never tell someone to kill themselves if I thought they were remotely serious.

You lot are restoring my faith in humanity. Well done.

No, not a sucker, just a caring person. I do the same thing. How can you not? I know 2 people who committed suicide, and 4 more who attempted. It's a frightening thing.

It's just not something anyone should joke about, so I just assume that anybody who talks about it may attempt it at some point. I just think you should do what you can to help.

You must be one of those people who's a laugh on top but underneath serious to the extreme, so that you have no choice but take some responsibility for whats going on around you. i always answer those, unless there are tell-tale signs that we are being suckered, say on the person's other questions. But I honestly believe that most of them are for real. There's a lot of despair out there and it's good to do even a very little to help.

Keep it up. You only need to help one genuine person to make a hundred people who think they suckered you look rather stupid.

NO, you're not a sucker at all....

I answered one of those questions not long ago, and the person has not been back....leaves me feeling sad not knowing. There was a man who also answered it in a mean way, and I told him what I thought about what he did, in a matter of fact way.

So for this one I say you are right, and I can actually appreciate you, even though the rest of your questions are soooo bad....

It certainly can make the difference - a kindly word springing from that thoughtless morass that passes for society can just about keep you going. Faith in humanity? Faith is the blind belief devoid of any evidence - is there any evidence for/of humanity?

i try to answer as well...especially after I read about Marilyn Monroe clinging onto the phone receiver when the police discovered her dead body....could she have tried talking to someone but that person turned a deaf ear to her? That's why I make it a point to answer any questions about suicide too, be it a real or fake cry for help.

I'm always nice to pregnant women and new Mums, I do get iriitated by the depressives though, I just want to give them a good kick up the jacksy to wake them up.

What do u tell the people.- to go for counselling, to talk to somebody? Or do u try to give them tips on how to commit suicide? You are a sucker if you encourage them, If u dont encourage them then your not.
