yes i am a very opinionated person.
an opinionated person can also be a man of principles just as
stubborn can also mean determined.

It is not a negative trait unless you are closed to new ideas and do not try to listen to others because all opinions are not always right.

I say I am opinionated because I do have opinions about almost every subject I have knowledge about. But I also listen to others and often when their ideas clash with mine I accept that they may be right under some circumtances.

In conclusion people who like to argue can do so with minor differences but people who like to get along can deal with major differnces in opinion.

What is best is to avoid time wasting arguments when one tries to impose his/her ideas mindlessly.

Saying that being opinionated is a negative trait is like saying it's wrong to think or wrong to feel. It's not wrong to feel strongly about something, especially if you have sufficient confidence in being right or that you have a point.

It's not bad, but it's not wholly good either. It's OK to state your opinion as long as you acknowledge you could be wrong. If you cling on to a belief even at the face of contrary evidence, or refuse to hear other opinions, you're just deluding yourself. If you force your opinions on someone else, or if you speak about something you know little about, you're an arrogant idiot.

not really... man have been opinionated ever since historical times. it's inherent to each of us. we give reasons to arguments, right or wrong. that's a trait we all bear. to extend our aide to those who seek it, to speak out when ask. that's how we are... and will always be.
