Rape is a crime against teh victim be it man or woman and teh perptrator often has a disdain for the sexual orientation of the victim (some hate women etc.). Anger and loathing often play a specific role in the actual acts. Dominance over another who would not give the attacker the time of day or worse thought of them as a friend. More cases of rape are performed by someone the victim knows or knows of. The "stranger danger" is still present but the overall psyche of a rapist usually was abused as a child be it physically or emotionally, raised in an environment that did not instill love but rather hate resulting in an ingherint need to hurt the victim later in life. No means no but to attackers it means that the victim is teasing them and needs to be punished. I hope this helps you.

It's not about sex -- it's about power and control. There are a lot of men out there who "get off" or have a compulsion with being in control or having power over someone else. It's kind of a God complex. Think of it this way: Wouldn't you feel a sense of power if you could get people to do exactly what you told them to do? Rape is taking it to the next step. Some men feel that they are truly "men" because they're big enough and strong enough to force women into submission. The strange thing is they may appear to be very normal men at work or to their friends and family -- kind of a "Jekyll and Hide" type thing.

The pleasure he gets is not really from the sex. He gets his pleasure from the domination he has over the woman. The power that he feels is what he wants. Its a very sad world we live in.

Rape is all about overpowering someone. It is all about domination over another human being and watching the fear in their eyes. Rapists actually get off to this. It is demonic.

Rape is an act of aggression, that states, "I'm more important than you!". It is done for revenge and/or to rebel against feelings of insecurity.
