Sometimes, I love being me, but other days, I wonder how good other people's lives are...

For example, would you rather live the life of a brilliant yet tortured artist such as Vincent van Gogh, or that of ahappy but carefree soul who is a bit simple-minded? This is a serious research question and i need as many honest answers as possible, thanks ill send you the results if you like///

I know who the guy is that follows me around and I don't mind so much. It kind of excites me to think he is outside of my window at night. I think about how if he tried to attack me I would stab him and enjoy every moment of it (the attack and all).

I also find my self investigating people a little too much I call them just to hear their voice....
finding out where they live ect..... Is this normal? Why? What to do? Why?

I often think that when someone protests about being "insulted" that my accusations are more or less accurate but that the protester thinks that if he screams "insult" with enough mock hurt then I will have to withdraw my remarks and think twice before saying something similar again. But I don't buy this sh_t. If I call someone "a f_cking ars_h_le" then in my opinion that is exactly what they are and I don't see why I should hide my views mince my words or pretend that I have not just witnessed something outrageously stupid. I don't actually think that there is such a thing as "a real insult". Have you ever been on the receiving end of a genuine insult? Possibly "a real insult" is a stream of verbal abuse uttered by "an abuser" who has the intention of provoking either a fight or a humiliating climb down. I think in this situation "the abuser" does not care whether or not his accusations are are grounded in reality. He is only interested in hitting as many buttons as possible.

So there are assigned groups of 4-6 people in this business school program. Groups are assigned and are intended to stay together for the duration of the program.

One member of our group is way too immature for the program. They speak without thinking, try to lead every project, get defensive about their ideas, don't really incorporate others' conlficting ideas, repeat others' correct asnwers as their own, and despite the fact that they are often proven wrong when promoting their own agenda... continue to do so.

The following has already been attempted:
1) Anonymous feedback
2) Personal interventions
3) Use of professors as 3rd party experts (to prove points)
4) Allowing them to lead smaller projects

The general consensus of the class is that this person offers no value and is a distraction. They can not be traded to another group since nobody wants this person.

Does anyone else out there with a lot of people management and team behavior experience have some advice?

was brought up to be very honest and if that if you did not like someone then do not be false/make an effort with them.

I am finding that this is not really working as an adult as it comes across as being aggressive/childish.

Anyone any tips with handing people who really get under your skin?

Thanks in advance.

We all know that stereotypes don't apply to everyone. And we also all know that generalities don't apply to everything. What's the big deal?

How do you hold tight on to your dream and not intterupted by the surroundings, fear, hurt, anything?

I found that I often forget my goal, my learned lessons, my grip, simply the beliefs that build me up as who I once proudly was.
I feel so painfully weak and stuck in this faithful-faithless circle. I wanted change but I never ceased disappointing myself.

Do you have any way/practical techiniques to improve it?

Thanks so much really for comments. I feel this is a hard question...

Did you know that when you overreact to someone who has offended you that you are telling them how to push your buttons? So why give them the power? They LOVE your attention, even if it is negative attention. So, DEPRIVE them of the thing that they want the most -- it's as good as choking off their air supply.

Of course, there is a line to be drawn somewhere. Someone may behave offensively, and not even know it. Either way, they need to be informed as calmly and as rationally as possible. If they still don't get it...well then, they need to be dealt with coldly and swiftly, but never emotionally.

Jamie is on lockdown by his mother because he became the victim of a sexual assault. She's afraid to let him stay by himself. She feels he's too immature to look after his own safety. Tomorrow is his first appointment at a counseling center in the afternoon and I'm going to accompany him on the bus. His mom is working and he has no dad. His mom pays me to stay with him (about a week now taking turns with another girl who is 14). I like Jamie a lot, hes tall, thin, handsome. He's very strong because he exercises in the park every day on gymnastic bars(under my supervision now!) and is kind gentle and innocent. He lacks the ability to say no when someone asks him to help them and that's what got him in trouble. I told his mom I would do it for free because hes my favorite boy. She said it was better if she paid me but thanked me. Hes going into the after school program at the YMCA next week when school starts. When I grow up and marry him I will care for him all the time.
