I had a very bad dream last night..... i was in the kitchen with my parents, and i was talking on the phone with my best friend. She was telling me that our other friend was hearing strange noises outside her house, and i told her that she doesnt have to worry probably it was just the rain and wind. And then all of a sudden i hear this strange sound, (like that of horses passing by, only much stronger) and i see two guys in our kitchen with knifes in their hands!!! They came to me and i started screaming, but then i woke up. It scared me to death bcoz it was so real. Does this mean anything? I don't usaully have bad dreams, i'm happy at home and didnt watch any scary movie before i slept too lol!

Does mind over matter really ring true? Do positive thoughts REALLY produce positive outcomes? Do people have an aura that others can sense, and if it's bad, is it usually because of negative thoughts?

That's what i wanna know. Does anyone believe in this stuff? Anyone have any proof of this? Can you give a good answer, explaining that our lives are guided by positive and negative thoughts?

What is wrong with a person who no matter what they do legally to support their family they fail?ie.They can't hold onto a legitimate job, can't start their own legitimate business. What's wrong with a person who has the initiative and drive, to go back to College then has all sorts of obstacles that are not of their own doing , but they continue to persevere, however they still lack less than 20 hours from obtaining a Bachelor's degree ,and finally because they are not credit worthy they cannot get funds to continue their education, so in the end they can't complete the College Degree program. Yet , if they engage in criminal activity they seem to prosper beyond measure, and gain fiancially and economically, but as soon they try to use the money for a legitimate, positive purpose,or goal , they again fail. Are they just natural born criminals? or just spiritual and societal failures ie....LOSERS, and if so how can they stop being LOSERS? These people are a success at being Failures.

I know some guys who do it. They laugh at guys who are not very attractive. They call them "nerds" and "geeks",. Since when does a guy care what another guy looks like? Doesn't that mean that the guy judging another guy's looks might have a smidge of homosexual tendencies?

I care what a girl thinks of me, but a guy? no way!!

So- case study-

13year old with Aspergers who is very poor at maths (but good on the 'normal' autism strengths such as computers and other systems), which suggest to me a separate deficit for maths...

Anyone know of any links between autism and dyscalculia? It seems odd as usually (but obv not always) people with Asperger's are brilliant at maths...

Thanks!

a difficult job consisting of a very complicated laundry list of checpoints and walking 6 miles a shift has up until now been unsupervised and left to the integrety of the front line staff, despite the challanges of the job and low wages they have been doing excellent save for a few problem individuals and unclear standards.
Now management has decided to go from not watching at all to watching every detail, but they have not yet paid the price to bring the systems, rules and policies up to date from the last unsuccessful revision 2 years ago and it will result in a painful transistion and people who have to guess which of two rules is currently being enforced, and new rules are constantly being added.

I am caught between a duty to make the rules fair and consistant, and a duty to hard working honest people to keep them from being punished for our lack of structure in a poorly thought out change.
All this and the change has to happen in buisness time. What is the best soultion?
