Get to know them. Observer their strengths and tell them you admire those traits in them.

If you supervise people in a work environment, give them measurable goals and when they meet them tell them you noticed they did and that you thing it is good.

You can start the sentence: "I like you because" and finish the sentence with something you like about them.

Let them know that they are OK in your world. No apology need. I told a friend, th at always said "I'm sorry" I told here, "You don't have to be sorry to be my friend in my life." I think she got it. Be strong and secure about what you say to praise that person. Never false hopes, or feelings, that's how they got there begin with . Good luck

i guess you just like um do whatever they tell you to do. i think i may even know what your problem is. you mey have someone that you really want to be friends with and you want to do what ever you can to become that persons friend.
