Usually when I'm attempting to interpret my own dreams I start with how I was feeling when this happened. I take note of any situations or things that caught my interest in the dream and how I felt about them. I attempt to relate them to my current life.

Edited here: I saw that ReddSonja seems to come the closest to what I believe might be your prob. I had a similar dream except I was doing the eating.

Woman is the projection of life in dreams! You just feel bypassed by the events!
Just take time to clear up your mind, and solve some old issues. By the way did the woman use a fork??

analyse of dreams cannot be done at once. just recall your yesterdays a week or a month analyse your movements happened during this period. try to link with the dream happened.
eating by a woman may be 1: someone taking total control of you, 2: you are fantasized by some woman whom you saw somewhere someelse 3: some woman whom you noticed staring at you. etc

being eaten by a woman could mean you are losing confidence in front of a woman, so you projected yourself as a food of a woman.
