Ive always wanted to see what other people thought about the future....and things that people are almost positive will happen.....well one thing I don't believe is that we will be flying around in little cars like the jetsons, and I really dont think marijauna will ever be legalized...sorry....A couple of things I do think will happen, is that everything will go plugless and even batteryless. No need for 6 outlets in every room in a house anymore, simply everything will be powered my a main source situated somewhere in the house. No more worrying about 7 cables being plugged into one outlet. Some how some way, it WILL be wireless. How hard can it be? The internet does it, remote controls do it from the tv to the remote? I beleive this will happen, if you know why this won't please....prove me wrong. Also, i think there will be a black president before a female president, and 20 years from now, there will be no "home" phone....cell phones will be the base of communication.

Wondering how? It's really amazing.

It's due to Mr. G Vaidyaraj, who donated all his Wealth, about which he
actually did not know.He is a descendent of Raja Krishnadev Raya from
Mysore district.

For the last 300 years or so, three stones were worshipped in his
house.But nobody tried to see what it was, except this person, who is a
lawyer by profession.One day, when there was nobody in his house, he took
the stone out to see what it was that they worship.

Due to the dust deposited on it, from many many years, it looked only
like a simple stone.But when he touched it, some portion of the stone
was cleansed.

Bank does not have enough money to buy it. One diamond costs thrice the
debt of World Bank over India .

One such diamond can buy 10 Bill Gates to you.

And the World Bank has proposed the Indian Govt. that it can pay India
in Installment if it wishes to do so. India 's GDP is 34.25 billion
dollars. Bill Gates property is 95 billion dollars approximate so that is
the way "nature changes". Mr. Manmohan Singh has refused to sell it.

He said it will be sold or mortgaged for credit when we need it.
Otherwise right now we have no problems.You can go through Times of India
with a small column on it a week ago. Star TV presented a 115 min
documentary on it about 15 days ago.

The Hindu with its half page article in it. After that it was censored
as classified.

Another good news is that in the Desert of Thar a deposit of Oil and
Natural gas have been found.This stores what Kuwait has in its stomach.
India can go with this ONGC energy reserve with another 30 years.

And moreover it can export it to other counties. It's incredible!! But
true.

An Indian boy in his 12th standard has disproved Einstein's "Theory of
Relativity". Shocked? Read on...

Sudarshan Reddy has theoretically proven the existence of a sub-atomic
particle, which can travel at speed greater than that of light, thereby
challenging one of the fundamental postulates of the "Theory of
Relativity". In his recent research paper submitted to the Institute of
Advanced Physics (IAP) at Trieste ( Italy ), Sudarshan has proved the
existence of a class of sub-atomic particles called "leptons",which can travel
faster than light.The international physics community is shocked by
this discovery.

Dr.Massimo Martelli, President of the IAP has this to say about the
paper submitted by Sudarshan."After long, careful and critical analysis, I
can confidently say that Sudarshan's re search papers show tremendous
leap in our understanding of physics. His investigation mounts up on
"leptons". His work builds substantially on the work of Einstein and
others in the field of relativity."

When physicists from Princeton University tried to measure Sudarshan's
IQ with an IQ-meter (at the American Embassy in Delhi ), the meter
broke down.

Sudarshan, incidentally, is the brother of Madhu Reddy, the Indian whiz
kid who developed an operating system superior to Microsoft Windows.

We should all be very proud of these boys.

ok i want to know the mindset of people. for those of you that have som insight into marxist and socialist theory.

if i (a liberal proletarain) were to start a revolution based loosly on marxist and communist ideals would you join me?

the details

the idea would be to bring a rise to the poor and a downfall to the rich (cliche i know but nonetheless the idea). by use of violence and political domination leading to (atleast in theory) a global empire (that if it were a millennia or 2 later would extend into deep space) through use of violence we would eliminate all class system (even though it is not recognized there are classes) ad brin the poor and the proletarian to an equal level as well as bringing the rich down to this median state. also recreational use of ANY narcotic and alcohol would be punishable by death. public execution would be used to make a point and create some fear propaganda (cant make an empire without propaganda). more small details but im out of letters.

ok, well, sorry about the question. i wanted to get your guys' attention, because i neeed the help, but complete sentences wouldnt fit. ok, so we're studying egypt in my history class. since im in honors(enrichment), we have tons of projects that need loads of details =[. for our new project(due 30th of this month!), we have to draw a life-size picture of a egyptian god. but its not that easy. we have to make our OWN god. we have to pick an animal native to nj(where i live), and decorate it. ive decided to make my god a blue heron(i dont think anyone else in my class will pick that animal). but, i also have to pick my own UNIQUE egyptian name for my god, and I also have to decide what it will be the god of. for example, osiris is the god of the underworld. can you guys PLEASE help me. I need a name for my god, and what my god will be the god of. like, my friend's is going to be a ruby-throated hummingbird(girl), and shes making it the god of jewelry. i appreciate the help =]

This may not be wise but I have to ask. I had all day to devote to Answers so I actually reached my allowed limit. I wasn't tired so I started to enjoy the opportunity to vote on Undecided Questions. Anyway, I was going through there and voting when I ran across one and thought "That's the most neurotic, opinionated, almost crazy woman in the world so she's nuts and does not get my vote"! There were only 2 answers to choose between. I suddenly realized that the answer that scared me WAS MY OWN!
SWEAR TO GOD! This just happened. I am numb. It was from a few weeks ago so I didn't remember it but I recognized the way I end my answers. I can't believe that could EVER have happened to anyone else here at Answers before. I really thought "That woman needs some serious therapy" AND IT WAS MY OWN ANSWER! I am not sure I will believe you if you answer Yes because it is just too surreal. PLEASE don't make jokes. I am absolutely floored and don't need anyone trying to make a joke out of this.

Yesterday I arrived for Jury duty at 7:30 am (to guarantee nearby parking). Called in a group of 40 for a nursing home Mal Practice case. We spent the entire day in the Voir Dire (questioning) stage.
To get everyones feelings about the situations involved in the case.

I am not meant to spend 9 hours on a hard bench, even if it is a new Courthouse, listening to Lawyers be cute and humorous and asking the same questions over and over and over and over.

I know we are supposed to have the worlds greatest court system, but I'm not sure how I feel the day after. It is to be a 8 day case, 12 years in the making and 13 bankers boxes of medical records. OMG!!!!! I was so happy they dismissed me. Nursing home VS a deceased quadrapaligic. It seems to me there has to be a time when people stop chasing the money and accept the fact that family members die and no one is necessarily to blame.

Money does not solve all problems.

Let me hear your experience.

A socialist belives that that workers deservs their share of wealth in the economy. They oppose the agregation of inequible wealth by a few people who have little merit except their own self agrandisment. Unfortunately the Soviet Union came to be associated with "Socialism" and it had men , like the capitalists of the West who ripped off the system. The Command Economy failed. People didn't produce enough or it was misdirected. The Demand economy of the West is much influenced by the creation of false needs and values by education for domestcation and advertising. When the Demand Economy collapses (as it will do : no Bull markets lasts for ever) socialists believe that the resultant social and environmental tragedies will require socialist solutions.
Socialists are not liberals.
