I need one badly! My mind seems to wander easily. I don't want to be dependent on a man as my only passion. Any advice at all I would appreciate it!

u can find your passion in life by discovering what SIMPLE things you enjoy about living. for example, i like words. language. that is why i started writing. and from my writing i found that i liked color, then i started coloring books & painting. Art can easily be a passion bc it is personal. what simple things give u pleasure?? this sounds like a mundane question, but you should really think about it...and therein is your passion, darling.

People who have a genuine passion in their lives generally have known they've had it most of their lives, and it is as much a part of them as their heart is.

I don't know - if you don't have a passion now - whether you can find one, but you can certainly find something that interests you and follow through on that interest. Sometimes, though, what starts as only interest can turn into a passion of sorts - so don't expect too much at first.

Think of causes, crafts, collections, closet talents/ambitions/abilities and things you care about; and see if anything strikes you. You could also go to the local library and browse the non-fiction books to see what you gravitate toward.

When it comes to interests, start small and build. The kind of interest you want is something you can't set out to find. It has to grow. There is a chance that somewhere at the core of your wandering mind that could be the seeds of some passion for something, and if you're really honest you may be able to figure out what that is. Genuine, consuming, passion, though - that's something that is just present in the people who have it.

Ask if you'd could get all that interested in something like crafts or gardening, and if the answer is "no" maybe you'd find more reward in a social cause. There's nothing stopping you from getting involved in a social cause AND collecting something you like as well.... Throw in some athletic activity - and you've got well-rounded.
