I'm looking for any year or range of years for the answer to this question - I'm not looking for answers that involve phrases like "in 50 years", but phrases which detail exact years and ranges in the future. I'm looking for a scale of what people think about whether the future will be more influenced by people alive today or by the next generation - I'm looking for numbers according to what people think, feel and believe - I would be more inclined to spend more time processing answers which are backed by the Scientific Method [for more info on: "Scientific Method" a yahoo search should yield a nice outined explanation of the procedures thereof] so (if you can) please try to include research links to back up your answers - thank you, so much, for the time you have taken to read so far; I have only one thing left to say: I do accept e-mail at this time, as long as in the subject line you include all the following from my key-word list : yahoo question 2007 2057 range future influence

Most Whites today are fair and all-inclusive. There may be some racist junkies who no one cares about really. All the same, there are some Blacks and other minorities who feel they are being treated shabbily because of their skin color. I feel most of the so-called prejudice is "imaginary" and exists because of misunderstandings rather than racism -

From the High and Mighty that think they are too important to talk to regular citizens?
To over-worked mail-readers that throw our concerns in the trash? And leave citizens
in a bind and out on the street? Don't you think we need to confront this type of abuse?
If you don't, you will when you are injured by it!

What's your Perfect Partner?

Please don't give me a list of description on how your perfect partner looks like. Don't give me answers like how the height and weight he/she needs to have, what colour his/her eyes has to be etc.

No, that's not my question.

I would prefer a more intellectual answer from you.

Like example;

"My Perfect Partner is the one who puts up with me and my flaws & faults."

So what's yours?

I would like to become a clinical social worker specializing in mental health treatment of an adult population in a community treatment setting. I'm specifically interested in implementing Dialectial Behavioral Therapy, among other methods. I am currently a Literature Major with 9 credits left in my degree. My minor is in the social sciences with an emphasis on history and anthropology. At this time I do not have any internship or volunteer experience working with vulnerable populations. What steps should I take to reach my career goals?

I am currently reading "A Cook's Tour" by Anthony Bourdain for my English class. I need to write a 2-4 page essay answering the Question: What was Bourdain's primary motivation for traveling around the world and doing his tv show?

Most of the people in my class say that his motivation was to find the perfect meal or for the experience...but a part of me thinks that the reason he did it was to gain fame and fortune. The only problem that I have is that I do not know how to support this with textual evidence from the book.

In this essay I need to have at least 6 paragraphs. The first 2 have to be an intro the next 3 have to be supporting reason why I think he went on this tour and then the last is the conclusion.

I do not know what my 3 supporting paragraphs should be about because I dont have any evidence as to why i think he did this for fame. If anyone has read this book and can give me a reason as to why Bourdain went on the tour then that would be greatly appreciated

I have noticed two kinds of posters here on Yahoo Answers. Those who want to know the truth, and those who are just looking for people to tell them that their "opinion" is right. Some questions, like those on religion etc... are a matter of opion, but other questions, like those on legal matters and such, have a true and false answer to them. I have noticed some asking legal questions (just as an example) that get ticked at those who are giving them the truth, because they don't believe the truth is fair. I don't understand why some post questions of seriousness like that, just to get you to say they are right.... even if they are wrong. I don't lie to anyone. I also look up answers i don't know before posting to serious stuff like that. Do you look for the "truth" of the matter, or to learn of others opinions, or do you come on here onesided, just looking for someone to tell you that you are right.
