Damn. Johnnie beat me to the punch. What he said - that's what I'm going with.

But I have to know - why are you asking this? Is there some practical need to have hot air hovering over the top of a jar of cold water? Am I missing out on some vital bit of life experience?

Put the empty jar in a hot room then add cold water. Easy huh!
