I have noticed two kinds of posters here on Yahoo Answers. Those who want to know the truth, and those who are just looking for people to tell them that their "opinion" is right. Some questions, like those on religion etc... are a matter of opion, but other questions, like those on legal matters and such, have a true and false answer to them. I have noticed some asking legal questions (just as an example) that get ticked at those who are giving them the truth, because they don't believe the truth is fair. I don't understand why some post questions of seriousness like that, just to get you to say they are right.... even if they are wrong. I don't lie to anyone. I also look up answers i don't know before posting to serious stuff like that. Do you look for the "truth" of the matter, or to learn of others opinions, or do you come on here onesided, just looking for someone to tell you that you are right.

I would always check whether it is the truth regardless of where an answer comes from. Too much bogus info out there! ;-)
Also, I do my own research and only way out things that no one has any real answers for yet will be used as questions (see my questions).

I post questions that I want real answers to. And when I answer a question, my answer is correct to the best of my knowledge.
Some people seem to enjoy "playing around" with the Q and As. I also find that offensive.
I also wonder why so many people ask questions that are asked every day. Why not just look through closed questions to see what others have posted?

In essence, I want to know the truth about what people really think. It depends on what kind of question I am posting. If I post a question where the answer is "black or white" so to speak, then I would hope that someone really knows what they are talking about.

At other times, I post questions that require some advice, intelligent thought and valid opinions. The only times where I am really unsatisfied with a response is if, of course, someone posts something really stupid. Usually, I am open to other's opinions.

I don't post questions on here, because I think serious questions should be asked of the respective professional, and the simple ones I look up myself.

I do enjoy answering, and reading other answers though. It gives insight into what people are thinking.

I look for what the majority of people say and then look at that as probably the right answer. If I'm wrong then I can see that. I notice though too most people just look for people that completly agree with them and justify their feelings then they choose that as the best answer.

i look for the truth, i know and accepted the fact that truth hurts. sure it knocks my ego sometimes, but it's what separate the men from boys. some people grow up and will apologies when they make mistakes, some people never grow up and still argue like a 3 year old.
