I hope this doesnot sound too sensitive, that's why I didnot use the 'E' word and use 'opponent' instead. And the term should be applied in any fields, i.e. sports, economy, education or whatever. I just need to see the views of many . Thank you for your opinions.

I had a dream where I was considered by me, my mum and others, to be pregnant and ready to go to a hospital and give birth. However I did not have a big belly and my belly was normal. Even in my dream i was puzzled by this. Also, I remember being very afraid of giving birth and nervous. Can someone who knows about dream interpetation help me with this please? ( by the way, I am not in a relationship so there is no way that it means that I might be really pregnant)

Or do you goto town with the bar of soap? I even saw a comedian on tv, joking about showering, before the punchline, implying no use of a washcloth. I'm thinking the young don't use 'em and the old do. I think you can get just as clean without the washclothes, but maybe you just use more soap?

About five times a day, on my way to class, I think I hear people that I walk by saying that they wonder if I'm a guy or a girl. Maybe I'm hearing things, but I don't think I look that much like a guy. Are people really saying this out loud?

i heard something like this on OPRAH, she said that they're is no such thing as race that can be found on people's DNA? is this true?

IF IT IS (and i think so)...HOW COME you hear stories that people give their DNA for testing to see what percentage of them has various ethnicities ... for example this guy on MONTEL show...physically looks black, but he got the 'heritage' test done and it showed up that he wasn't black at all , that he's blood consists of indo-american , white... etc.etc. except no african , black....

SO I'm CONFUSED!...how can there be no such thing as race to b found in our DNA, yet people can get 'tests' to see if they are 100% white, black, asian , or in most cases mixed....

You would have to take on their complete life and circumstances, not just the good things that you would like.

Remember there may be some things that you could find you could not cope with. Some people seem to have everything but have they really?

I have always had this need to help others, but I'm more of a "tough love" type. If you are or know a social worker, will you share with me some experiences? If not, don't you find life to be more rewarding if you're helping out in some way?

This is a very bizarre article about the increase in narcissism in our youth because their parents told them they were special. The experts are concerned this will naegatively affect the trends in social behavior. So their answer is to stop telling your kids they are special? Won't this also negatively affect social behavior?

All opinions welcome.

i went to a friends wedding party a few weeks ago where i met a lady who used to visit our campus when we were younger. she came and talk to me so i told her she used to visit us and i asked her if she remembered me, but she didn't. she came and sat next to me to talk briefly few times throughout the night and we made a few eye contacts. she has crossed my mind a few times since then so i got her number from my friend's new wife and i called her but she was having a bad day, she told me she was free the next day should i wish to call her. i was busy the neext day so i didn't but i text her to tell her i would call during the week when time is appropriate. she has not text back!

she is single and 22 years old, 6 years younger than me.

should i try call her again? what are some good conversation starters for this age group?

Sometimes you will have a second best or third best answer, that is really really good, and sometimes you just can't decide which is the best answer.

2nd Best should get eight points.
3rd runner up should get 5 points.

Of course this would only work if the individual who posted the question actually picks the best question themselves.

If the question defaults to being voted upon, because the questioner forgets to select the best question. Then the present method of voting for one best answer is acceptable to me at least.

If its important to the individual, then they would follow up and select which is the best answer themselves.

The issue of having a "runner-ups" option to selecting the best answer is relevant also under another set of circumstances.
Sometimes there is such a substantial response to a single question that there ought to be 2nd and 3rd best answers.
For example, a question gets 20 to 50 answers in a short time, or within the time it is allowed to run.

I've posted a question stating that I posted 10's of question I knew the answers thereto in advance and asked if anybody knew my motive.

Some people got angry and charged me with every vice in the town; stupidity, complex of inferiority, etc. I wonder why! They even threatened that they'll spread the word & boycott me. Yahoo has become a monopoly!!

My sole reason's sharing knowledge by evaluating the answers and commenting, then choosing the best one. And, in fact, it is yr knowledge which I'm letting be shared.

Don't I've the right to share my knowledge & let knowledge be shared, in any manner I want, as long as nobody's hurt in the process? Why the negative attitude and mistrust? Isn't it possible, though I knew the answer, someone would come with a different & legitimate point of view? This will educate me, too. Do I know all the angles? NO, I can't say I do. Knowledge is always in WANT, and we all learn constantly from birth to death.

Thanks for your understanding
