Or do you goto town with the bar of soap? I even saw a comedian on tv, joking about showering, before the punchline, implying no use of a washcloth. I'm thinking the young don't use 'em and the old do. I think you can get just as clean without the washclothes, but maybe you just use more soap?

This is from a Dave chappelle clip, and he was commenting on a difference within the races. In the sketch he was a black man living with a White family (trading Spouses) He said white people don't use wash cloths. And everytime he went to use the soap someones pubic hair was on it.
I found the sketch hilarious.

Great question. I am 27 and I only found out a few years ago about wash cloths. Now, I always grew up with wash cloths in the shower but I was never instructed at a young age to use them so I don't. I used to lather myself up with soap. Mostly under my arms, shoulders, and front & rear of genital region. Depending on how frequent I shower, I may soap up other regions. This is ofcourse I do a mandatory shampoo of my hair. Now since the invention of body wash, I prefer to use Axe body wash. I use it the same way and sameplaces I used to use soap. But,no wash cloth. I have a hand. Thats really all I need. I shower usually once a day. If I become active or sweat, maybe twice a day. I use a good anti-perspirant (not deodorant) and I usually never smell. If I am really dirty, I just stay in the shower longer or take a bath, then a shower. I hope that answers your question.

One thing I thought was funny. I had a friend who moved away and came to visit me. I have my own place now. He was quite surprised and complained I did not have any wash cloths. Needless to say he didn't stop complaining and I sent him packing. But thats another story. Wash cloths.... Who needs them!

I use a loofah. It's the poofy thing that chicks love and guys wont admit to using it.
Eeww washclothes are gross. Have you ever notice how the sponge you wash dishes with gets that awful smell and no matter how many times you wash your hands it still lingers well a washcloth that you use in the shower attracts even more bacteria. Loofah are better there like plastic.

I think your suppose to use a washcloth unless you are using a loofah. The main reason is because you need to exfoliate your skin. A washcloths help remove dead skin cells. So, you'll feel cleaner and smoother.

Yep, washclothes are more hygenic better than the pouffs. The pouffs trap too much bacteria. So if you don't use either you are probably just as fine.

Always. Got to get rid of dead skin. I've tried the loofah, but it's too rough for me.
