I was a lifeguard. In training, we were taught that, all things being equal, Euro-Americans and Asian-Americans were more neutrally buoyant than African-Americans due to differences in muscle to fat ratios. This fact helped us on the job, making us alert for fatigued African-American boys who were most at risk to drown.

Now, there may be some other differences in this world that are too taboo to be mentioned. Should some facts be outlawed? Are some differences too politically charged to be admitted even if they are true?

For example, if it can be proven that whites are weaker, all things equal, should they have different criteria to becomes soldiers, or to achieve relative fitness levels in school?

Ok, This is my first time (hopefully the last time) to ask about stuff like love.

I need help.

Ok, I never been in love, as in, never involve in relationship.

But recently I realise that I am sort of liking this person, and now he's asking me what do I think of him.

Is not that I am shy, the fact is that I am not a shy person, I’m just introvert.

It's a huge difference between shy and introvert.

Anyway, he ask again,

"Do you see me as someone you could like more than a friend?"

"Or do you see me as a friend"

"Or someone you would fear?"

Of course I don't see him as someone who is scary, I do wanted to say that I could see him like more than a friend, but still, I want to keep my ego LOL

How can I reply him in another way?

I want to give him a more special and deep in thoughts kind of answer.

Any of you can help?

Built in the modernistic style of the late 50's/early 60's, the city seems beautiful from all the pictures I've seen. But I also know that the modernistic style can make a place less livable, cold, empty, increasing travel times, inhibiting business and harboring pockets of crime. Does Brasilia fall into that, or has it avoided it?

Thanks!

The first time I did this I lasted about ten minutes. Which is pretty good...and harder than you think...Awesome idea for a website, awesome idea for an interface.

Check it out and let me know...how long did it take before you clicked?

And do you always set out goals at the start of every year? Mine this year is to qualify for the UK Ironman triathlon and to compete in as many marathons as i can. I've always thought its very important to set out goals, and im just looking for others opinion on the subject. Cheers

this is the question that have been hunting me from along time, some people say it's all about math and others say it's a zone in our mind. So is it a mathematical equation or illusion that keeps us worm at night.
