How do you build a system in which a mixture of plastic,glass,metal and paper are separated from each other?

i need to know how to build this for my science project at school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I figure you don't want any product destroyed. Magnets will remove the metal, fans blowing can remove light amounts of paper, placed in water the plastic will float and you would be left with glass.

such systems are use by recycle plants to remove labels from pas tic, cans and bottles. I believe they use an acid to dissolve the paper from the other things. the acid is quite mild as it just dissolves the paper and it settles to the bottom of the tank and then the sludge is removed bleached and made into recycled paper
