lol, its the science of people, social activatities of people, the basic and complex studies of what people do and how they respond to there enviroment. the studies of social science is becoming rather inmportant which engineers because the social scientist will know how people will react when say they making a new soccer stadium and how many rows and how bug the entrances should be to try make sure there no "traffic jams" so to speak. but then again the enginees must work every close with the social scientist because if you only work on the basis on making all the people leave at once and have no ques you can sarcifice structural integraty. the social science is only implamented in ergonomics of cars/computer software/ and just about even thing else because the guys making the stuff need to know how people will go about using the item and what they would do with it
