Seriously, what have you learned in your 50 trips around the sun. You have learned that hard work and dedication to a job are more appreciated than book knowledge of a subject. Book knowledge has its place, true, but hands on working experience is oft times more appreciated and desired in the end product.
I hope that you have learned that truth,honesty and straight talk is more valuable than innuendo, false promises and unfinished tasks.
Do not think that you cannot learn, that is a mistake, we learn every day or the day has been wasted. Pass the knowledge on to a younger person, and listen if they have an idea, it may be better than what you are used to doing.
The income potential of any human, at any age depends on the individual and the willingness to work with others. It is not easy, nothing is, but the reward of an honest days work or help is the measure that so many have lost in pursuit of a higher wage base.
