So many....that termites can't survive more than 22min at a temp of 130 degrees, that there are 206 bones in the human body, that a person can drown in 2in of water, or that you can live 1wk without water and 30days without food before you truly damage yourself beyond repair. Oh yeah, and that sex and swimming burn the most calories and use the most number of muscle groups at the same time than any other exercise!

hot water freezes faster then cold water...
when water is boiled until all the trapped air bubbles are released, it will freeze faster than cold water. but hot water doesn't freeze faster because it's hot, it's cause it has a different composition from the cold water that sill has the trapped air bubbles. like when you heat water some of the mass is carried off so there is actually less water to be cooled and then during evaporation the hottest molecules are released into the air first thus lowering the temperature of the remaining water

I always feel comforted by the fact that Van Gough only actually sold one painting in his life time - when you die, you can still have a massive effect on the world, maybe more so than when you were alive so really you could think that none of us will completely die when we do stop living, we'll live on either through our work or our children, someone will remember us.
