i'm a woman, and i just drew attention to something that other women do that is self-serving. and i get someone asserting that i must be male.
why is that?
are women not allowed to call each other on their misbehavior? it can only be a man that finds fault with women?
doesn't that feed into the whole "gender war" thing? if you're not 100% in agreement, then you must be a man?

comments?

Let's look at this topic from a different perspective. Let's look at pregnancy as a family affair, as opposed man vs woman issue, calling it "family leave." There are two reasons for a woman to have time off: bonding with the newborn & medical conditions. Then the man would have two reasons for time off also: bonding with the newborn & taking care of wife while she's having the medical conditions.

I'm highly disturbed when people deny the effects of pregnancy on a woman's body but a good husband would also see that as a "family affair" and would want to stay home to take care of the home and wife. This way both would get equal amount of time off, however, some of this time would be to take care of the wife (yes, I need the specific acknowledgement and entitlement to know the time is being given to him specificially to take care ME, damn it! LOL).

I have never been in that situation so this is actually a new topic to me.

Tell me how a woman is a better choice to be put on the front line of battle?

They can barely carry their packs (most). Let alone carry an injured soldier away to safety.

I think this is one of those scenarios where a women is less suitable than a man even if she thinks shes wonderwoman. Dont you just agree? Its just commonsense is it not?

What other scenarios is the man the obvious better choice than the woman?

Basically, the requirements for woman to be police officers are about as half as stringent as the requirements for men to be police officers. Why, b/c men are inherently more qualified to be police officers. Are some women qualified--yes. Are some more qualified than me--Yes. But are the most qualified woman as qualified as the top men--NO.

Yet, why can't society accept this? Why are they making it easier for woman?

To me, these double standards are symptomatic of society. People want to believe they can do anything. That is a false premise. You know what, I encourage my daughter to play sports, including boxing, but if she told me her dream was to fight for the championship of the world in the men's division then I would tell her that is not possible. Why, because it is biolgoically proven.

It is an extreme turn on for me when a guy undresses in front of for the first time and I see that he is circumcised. Do any other women think that male circumcision is sexy and kind of erotic? I mean do you ever contemplate if the guy is or not?

the fact that you make your own money, your choices have widened, because you are free to pick from men who make 10k - Infinitum/y or do you feel that your choices have narrowed down to the men who are more successfull or at least as successfull as you ? Plz ingore the mens preferences for now, ie dont factor in men who dont want a less/more successfull woman, talk only about your own preferences.

When the enlightened matriarchs take the right and proper place as guardians of society and the media and society start reflecting healthy, appropriate, sensible values, how much will men's tastes be transformed? Being that our tastes, desires, and preferences are largely, if not entirely the result of such (now pernicious, but in the feminist future, wholesome) influences, what can we foresee our sons and grandsons fantasizing about?

That there is a difference between (1) being able to do everything a women can do; and (2) doing it as well as a woman? Since far more males are diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder than females then doesn't make sense to leave all the jobs that requires the most concentration to women? How happy would you be with a surgeon who forgot what he was about to do in the middle of open heart surgery on your loved one?

fear expressing their emotions? Some seem to have serious emotional constipation and think this is a GOOD THING: "DON'T/NEVER be emotional', Man should never be emotional...NEVER be emotional!" Display of appropriate emotion at appropriate times is a sign of GOOD mental health whereas 'flat affect' is a sign of POOR mental health. How do men manage to get so out of touch with themselves - still - in this day and age, and why?

Can woman be fireman and other jobs based primarily on physical strength-- Absolutely. Are there woman who can do them better than me--Absolutely. However, can the strongest woman do the job as well as the strongest 10% of men--Absolutely not.

So that means elite combat and police units (where strength and speed is a major requirement) will always be strictly men, true?

i am not a feminist per se, but i do love my mom and i am offended by talk that moms are bad. i think you guys that feel that way are ingreats. go ahead and try to defend yourself. i want to hear your reasoning. also, ladies, tell me, why do you think men would feel the need to badmouth the people that probably fed and raised them since they came from the womb?!??!

by nature we are not meant to be monogamous.
biologically, women are meant to breed with more than one man. just in case a man hands now a genetic illness to the child...to prevent this from happening to the next child a NEW male partner would decrease the chances.
also, since women bare the ultimate responsiblity in propagating the human species, it is up to women to pick the correct mate to procreate with. to do this she must date lots and lots and lots of men in order to find the best one.

men claim they cannot be monogamous because they need multiple partners to spread their seeds.
women cant be either due to the reasons i have stated above.
