I get what your question is about. I also read the other question. I also think you are comparing apples and oranges. Being female is not the same thing as being diagnosed with ADD. For starters one is a sex and the other is classified as a mental disorder. ADD affects fewer men (10% of males in the U.S.) than being female affects women (100%). ADD does not only affect males whereas being female only pertains to women. So this is a weak analogy at best. Yes women should be allowed to be a part of a fire protection agency or any other job that men do.

ADD is irrelevant because it isn't universal, and in fact, isn't even as common as it appears, because it tends to get diagnosed whenever someone doesn't want to do with an active kid.
Surgery is a bad example that actually argues against your premise since it's very rare for operations to be conducted without BOTH men and women present and surgical tools keep getting left inside patients anyway. Fatigue, not Gender is the key issue.
If you want concentration, go with people who have low IQ's. Studies have shown that the mildly retarded, down to IQ 70 are the safest drivers. The reason being that retarded drivers don't do anything else while they drive.
There are a couple of things that each gender naturally does better and they aren't what you might think. Women, for instance are better at jobs involving a lot of lifting, because they naturally lift with their legs rather than their backs--as men tend to do. Women also have an advantage as fighter pilots, because they have, on average, faster reflexes and can tolerate more G's than men. They also tend to have higher pain thresholds than men.
The two occupational disadvantages that women have are upper body strength--their strength is usually concentrated in their legs and judging distances--but that's only because we keep lying to them about how long six inches is.
Note the use of the phrase, on average. There are enough variations among human beings to rule out any occupation, other than Hooter's Girl, and even that's not a sure thing considering how good some TG's look, being necessarily Gender Specific.

ADD is not a negative, but simply requires alternative thinking methods. I have ADD and am not taking medication for it (and have a 3.7GPA at U of M). It actually enables me to think about problems from multiple angles simultaneously.
Another key factor is that more men are -diagnosed- with ADD. This in no way proves more men actually have ADD than women. It could very well be that women, generally less aggressive than men, exhibit fewer signs (such as being disruptive at inappropriate times during childhood, interrupting others, etc.), and so are less often diagnosed with the condition.

ADHD (or ADD) has not actual test - it's practically a theory only...
"Countless children labelled hyperactive are being subdued with drugs like Ritalin. But many experts think they're just naturally boisterous"
"although some children undoubtedly do benefit, and many parents find them a godsend, there is growing concern that ADHD is being overdiagnosed — that it is being used indiscriminantly to label children who have other problems, or who may simply be badly behaved."
In my experiences, men generally don't pretend they can do everything as well as a woman. However, I have personally observed many women 'watching over' men because they think they're so much superior that the man is simply incapable of doing it without supervision.
For example, when my first daughter was born - we were both fairly new to babies. I had a mild upper-hand, as I used to babysit for my nephew regularly when he was a baby. The biggest issue I had, was concern about getting dirt in the vagina - whereas with a boy, it's practically impossible to get dirt inthe penis when cleaning.
However, that did not stop my partner's mother glaring over my shoulder as I changed my daughter's nappy/diaper. Why would she feel a need to monitor me, when I'm more experienced with diaper changing than my partner was? She didn't glare over her shoulder - so why wuold she mine?
It seems to me, that feminists are the ones who are shouting they can do anything a man can do - not men shouting they can do anything a woman can do.
On the other hand, men tend to be better at focusing on a single task and as any surgeon would be checked for such conditions as ADHD, I cannot see your hypothetical situation coming to be. However, women tend to be better at multitasking (hence jobs like receptionist), meaning less abled to focus on a single task.
I anticipate you won't appreciate my answer, but it is my observations.

That's just a stereotype. How can you prove more men are diagnosed with ADD? And how can you prove just because they have ADD they're a vegetable and are impotent to do anything? In my mind, and i'm not trying to offend anyone, but men are more qualified to hold the big jobs down because they can physically and mentally withstand the pressures of it, why else would men be in the top jobs? Luck? No, it's knowlodge and a hard head (figurativly speaking about the hard head bit)
EDIT:
In my school (i am in grade 11) girls do get into more fights then boys. They also can't keep their mouths shut and then spark yet another fight. ADD is overly diagnosed, it says at austrailia's bereau of statistics 70% of boys are wrongly diagnosed with ADHD

To be fair, all people, whatever their gender, have different levels of ability in different tasks. I am a woman, and I am far better at mechanical things than my mother, who just doesn't have a clue, but not as good as my father, who is great at that stuff. My mother is brilliant at sewing, scrapbooking, crosswords and adding up a big row of numbers in her head, my father is good at fixing cars, anything electrical and can build a computer with his eyes closed.
It doesn't matter whether we dangle or not, we all have our own unique set of skills and talents, challenges and weaknesses. We should all be working together to make a strong team/partnership, not arguing over which sex is better.

Basing inferences on male capability as a result of attention deficit disorder is quite laughable.
ADD is simply a result of a boy acting out against a feminized system.
Your logic appears to be feminize everything so that girls can meet their full potential, when boys can't meet their full potential in that feminized system blame them and further exclude them rather than do for them what you had done for girls.
The only people who would agree with this idea would be female supremacists.
People who believe in equality would disagree with this idea, really.

It is interesting to me that people that supposedly have "ADD" have no problem concentrating (for long periods, too) on things they LIKE to do. (That's what doctors will tell you!) Perhaps schools could try making their lesson plans a bit more creative. Perhaps parents/schools can give more incentives to kids to want to learn. I'm sure that ADD is over-diagnosed. The few who really do have it probably really can't sit still or concentrate, even at tasks they actually enjoy. If your youngster can sit for hours and play video games, he/she can pay attention to a history lesson. The trick is getting him/her to be interested and/or motivated to do so!
(Sorry, I must have "ADD" ...I deviated from the real question and went off on a tangent of my own....lol! (Kidding, of course.)

Why can't men admit? Do you absolutely mean ALL men? Because if you do, and are asserting this as fact, you're a fool!
You're question is fundamentally sexist, by defining all men as a monolithic type. Either this is another fraudulent identity, created by one of the fools who hate women, or you have really lost your mind. And I can speak authoritatively here since I am a man, and neither subscribe to the nonsense you're proposing here. If what you said is true, there would have to be a physiological barrier preventing each gender from qualities present in the other. Just for the record, do you hate your father. If not, do you believe the same thing about him as you say of all men here?
