When the enlightened matriarchs take the right and proper place as guardians of society and the media and society start reflecting healthy, appropriate, sensible values, how much will men's tastes be transformed? Being that our tastes, desires, and preferences are largely, if not entirely the result of such (now pernicious, but in the feminist future, wholesome) influences, what can we foresee our sons and grandsons fantasizing about?

As much as feminists give lip service to the evils of our modern definition of beauty, you would think they would say, "yes, even the Bea Arthurs of this world should be considered just as beautiful and desirable as the Halle Berrys of this world." Instead, you get "you must have woke up from a bad dream," or "your jaw would drop if you saw me." Why is that? Is it because they really don't believe that we should look deeper than the surface or that if we do, we might not like what we find so we have to keep playing the sex symbol card? The great thing is that the men and women I know out in the real world don't espouse these narrow standards. I am certainly no beauty. I would even dare to say that I am unattractive by these standards. However, I have never had a problem attracting the opposite sex. I learned a long time ago that average people really are attracted to what is within and if we give off an aroma of confidence, people are naturally attracted to us. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.

you know Gnu Sense I would love to think this true, but I fear we (men and women) will not be changing that drastically any time soon. It seems that mankind stays on this steady slope of stupidity.
All I can do is try to maintain a level head and if I have a son, teach him to respect and love women for who they are, not who they resemble, this is how we mold the future imo.

"These teachings are like a raft, to be abandoned once you have crossed the flood.
Since you should abandon even good states of mind generated by these teachings,
How much more so should you abandon bad states of mind!

Conquer the angry man by love.
Conquer the ill-natured man by goodness.
Conquer the miser with generosity.
Conquer the liar with truth."

I'm a feminist and I don't remember Bea Arthur being a sex symbol, do u actually believe that we all huddle in a corner and swap hairy leg problems. I'm not really the kind of girl who talks herself up, but I think u need to hear this. If I walked past u in the street your jaw would drop, I have absolutly no problem catching mens attention and then once I speak and suprise them with my best asset, my brain, they can't get enough. U see the truth is we,"feminists",r everywhere, u cannot escape us. Whats more we are now revelling in our sexuality and honour our physical traits. We're actually really good in bed because of our confidence, we're not going to apologise for our sexual appetite. Maybe instead of posting lame questions online u should go out and find yourself a nubile, young, feminst to play with. She'll b the one with a great *** and be holding a conversation. Good luck.

BEA ARTHUR?
Yikes, it sounds like you woke up from a bad dream!
I would hope that men would be able to recognize the inner value of women instead of focusing 100 percent on their appearances.
This is what I try an instill in my sons and daughters. We need to see past the superficial. We are supposed to be spiritual beings inhabiting human forms.

Learn to Meditate and allow the nonsensical particulate matter to settle gradually to the bottom of a very clouded chalice that contains your mind ... such as it is.

Learn to "Still Your Mind"

That's what Bea Arthur would say I am sure.

Why are you assuming that "our" sons and grandsons would lust after or fantasize about ANY woman?

Perhaps they are gay? Or perhaps we will eventually evolve into asexuality.

And I hate to break this to you , but there is no such thing as "feminism" anymore.

All women do these days is whore themselves out. They got this mistaken idea that becoming a skank like a man somehow made them equal to a man.
So now we have a bunch of skanky people running around having abortions or unwanted children, who grow up to have more abortions and unwanted children...etc.

So your point is moot. And dear god people use some freaking birth control if you must fornicate like rabbits.

What do you mean, "their" tastes. "Their" tastes would be for pleasing women and therefore adhering to women's "tastes". Matriarchy is female supremacy. I hope you're looking forward to it!
