Other than the obvious sexism and reverse discrimination that this is based on, can anyone offer a decent explanation?

A SKETCH IN BBC ONE COMEDY LITTLE BRITAIN WHICH SHOWED A WOMAN URINATING UNCONROLLABLY HAS BEEN CRITICISED BY AN INCONTINENCE CHARITY.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/4460876.stm

"People with incontinence are often ridiculed, but it is not a joke, and the condition can be life-destroying for many older people."

Here is a disgraceful UNFUNNY clip:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xs1kgFFrfUI

One half of women suffer from incontinence at some point in their lives and one third will develop a "problem".

IT IS NORMAL PEOPLE.

Why are women being laughed at for something that is normal?! Do men just need to get over this, just because patriarchal beauty standards involve a woman that has control of her bladder (what some sixteen yr old?!) it doesn't mean that incontinent women have a problem.

Is this sort of joking about non-conformity to what men want just bullying women into accepting the patriarchy?

Incontinence is perfectly natural for a woman. Here are some fast facts for you:

http://www.urotoday.com/browse_categories/urinary_incontinence/prevalence.html

The United States has the highest rate of female incontinence.

* Half of all women experience incontinence at some point in their lives.
* 1/3 Develop a regular problem.

If it is 1/3 of women, quite a significant number, then why is it considered a problem?!

SOUNDS LIKE IT'S PERFECTLY HEALTHY TO ME.

Just because patriarchal standards of women's deportment insist that we do not smell like urine - so they can objectify us - does not mean that incontinence is a problem. Sounds like it is just as normal as underarm hair, leg hair, facial hair and "obesity". In fact around 1/3 of women are "obese" in the United States and just like obesity adult diapers did not exist when they were painting pictures
of healthy women considered obese by todays standards.

Why do women conform to the patriarchal standard of wearing adult diapers for incontinence?

Have we become absolutely certain in the new age that money can buy everything and is the ultimate power and weapon?

Call me what you want but there was a time not so long ago when courtship was based on anything but money,it was there but just always a very secondary thing.

Maybe the next step in modernism is buying emotions and love i guess we already are removing the importance of union between man and woman to cenceive a baby, what do you say?

Please no gender isssues here i'am not into gender bashing,i want to read some answers and learn.

What do you think about women that hate men?

Isn't misandry just as wrong as misogyny?

Shouldn't we condemn female chauvinism and man-hating in much the same way that we condemn male chauvinism and sexism?

I have said for a long time that in this period in time, women are more openly sexist than men. And many men and even women have agreed with me. The reason is because it's true.

I think not. It's also a reason to pay those women less in those jobs because they are not as good as the guys. If a woman is not even strong enough to arrest a criminal, what is the point of having women as police officers? The standards are there for a reason. Especially considering women saying they are equal.

It was a great feeling defeating a woman in an argument. Usually they have to have the last word and always "win." The look of bitter defeat & humiliation on her face was priceless.

The last post about rape got me confused. If both the man and woman are drunk, is it legally rape or not? Does anyone know the actual laws? I can't get a straight answer on line. All the websites just say that if the female is drunk, then it is rape. But there is no mention of the mental state of the male.

I'm not asking this to be perverted or ignorant, it's just that, I've heard of male-female (obviously!), male-male, female-male.... but never female-female. Is there an article you could point me to about this? Thanks!

White men have undoubtedly persecuted many races and women over the years. However, it has now become acceptable to persecute white men. A remark from a newscaster, sports personality, or comedy series about a non-white male, or especially a non-white female, will be received with public outrage and likely means career suicide for the person who made the remark.

Yet, jokes, remarks, stereotypes about white men are considered funny, light-hearted and harmless. Listen, I think political correctness is out of control, but if that is the way of the world, then white men should not be the only exception to this rule.

Yes, my ancestors caused many of the problems of today. But that does not give anyone a right to degrade me and the fellow white males of today.
