Ok, so my best friend is a girl and I was wondering, since it happened today. When girls sit on guys laps, playfully, do they know how hot it is and feels to the guy? Do they see it as just a friendly thing and not realise the guy is basically thinking -hell yes!! I'm touching her a,ss!!-. Or do they do it intentionally and enjoy it? Also, kind of a seperate question, do girls enjoy sitting on guys laps?

A few months ago, my local TV news report had a "fluff" piece, a feel-good story at the end of the news. It was about a teenage boy who plays guitar and sings at places like theme parks and so on. He was a very pretty little blond boy who was 14, looked 11, and had been performing since he was 10.

The news report said that he had female fans from ages 8 to 40, and showed some middle-aged women lining up to get his autograph and looking excited, as one does at a concert. The tone of the news report was very much: "How cute is this? And good on him".

I'm not suggesting those women were doing, or even thinking, anything wrong. It's entirely possible they were captivated by his unbroken voice, despite him sounding like Minnie Mouse.

However, I did wonder if the news would have reported the story in quite such glowing terms if it had been a pretty little blonde GIRL singer who was 14 and looked 11, with middle-aged men lining up to meet her and looking excited?

There is no dependancy now between both the genders and i think that is great so why still continue with these relics???
There is no difference between sex and making love its about an episode of the Discovery channel and fetish thrown in ,so why then when sex can be had as easily as junk food from the nearest fast food joint?
No one compromises both men and women,we have become very strong willed and conscious of our self sufficeny so why?
Work hours are so demanding there is precious little left for the partner and that also more often is spent on someone in the workplace so why??
Children can be had by a visit to the nearest sperm bank so why?
Women can abort babies at the drop of a whisker so there is no fear of old fashioned shame so why??
Relationships lead to heart breaks, trauma, emotional and physical abuse like rape so why??
The only reason perhaps i can think of is we still want to have the best of two different worlds one of the past and the other of the new world????

Ladies, pick one please...

If your family's income was such that you could choose from one of these situations, which would you choose?

A) You will stay at home and take care of the family.
B) You will work and your husband will take care of the family.
C) You and your husband will work and a stranger will take care of the family.

Keep in mind that I mean during the entire time that the children are living at home. Teenagers need at home guidance just as much as 2 year olds. That's why there is no D) Work and leave the teenagers unsupervised. That's not a healthy option. This is about healthy options.

Here's an abstract from a study on the effect of estrogen-testosterone therapy versus estrogen-alone therapy in HRT in postmenopausal and oophorectomized (sp?) women.

Is there anybody out there who still likens testosterone to a "poison," or a "storm?"

Why is gay marriage even an issue? Go kill a baby, its no problem in America.

That country has no moral compass - GOOD LUCK AMERICA!

The above was the question on Yahoo, but the answer below won:
I have changed the answers words to protect these guys identity but it basically means exactly the same.

He said that the fundamental duty of working is on the male. He then suggested that women ‘should’ work but only in the case on a crisis. Then he said women should dedicate their time to simple and easy tasks, because it is (apparently) very different for them to go for a job since it is not easy for them to earn and adjust.

After he won someone’s vote, he replied by first saying that women ‘should’ sing a song - which I won’t state because it’s not English. But the song he used in this context was used to imply that women should be waiting for their husbands when they come home from work. After which, he said love is more important than money.

If I am upset about this, do you think I am wrong to?

State your gender with you reply please.

First, don't tell me the gym is for men because it's not, it's called the gym, not men's gym, unlike women's gym. Both men and women can go to the gym, while only women can go to the women's gym. How sexist is this?

To the few of you that will say: ''you can still use the women's gym'' WELL NO A GUY CAN"T !@#^^& since it's WOMEN ONLY!!!

I've noticed a trend lately that if a woman is the least bit slim and isn't built like Queen Latif, she's automatically labled "anorexic" and accused of "starving herself"! What a load of b.s.!!! I have a theory that there is a conspiracy against thin women started by heavier-set ones as revenge for all those years of attacking "fat" women - they all got together and decided to start a campaign of labeling thin women as abnormal! - But I see right thru the deception! Even runway models can now be booted just for being skinny!

Could it be that feminism (fasten your seatbelts for this one) embraces doubel standards ?

Sorry for all these questions, but I cannot respond to my own questions. Any sane person knows that NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, justifies racial classifications.

On the other hand, I believe there are sound reasons for gender classification in contact sports. First, men, on average, are simply physically stronger and more physically aggressive than women. That fact alone justifies gender classification on the non-professional level.

So what if a woman is good enough to play against guys. On the professional level, I believe she should be allowed to play (but I highly doubt a woman will ever be able to compete against elite male athletes).

But on the amateur level, there is no reason to have women competing in physical contact sports with men. They have their own leagues and equal opportunities. Plus, guys don't want to be playing against women; we like to measure our bodies and physical strength against other men, not women. What is wrong with that?

In my previous question, which apparently was not well-written enough for some posters, someone compared my gender classification for athletic activities to racism. First, I am personally offended as I date a African American women.

And unlike race, there is biolgoical strength, power and hormonal (namely, testosterone) differences tha justify separating athletics based on sex. To compare this to racism is insulting to me, and plain stupid.

How come the top high school men's team basketball team in the county could beat the top women's professional team? The answer is simple: inherent physical differences. That cannot be changed unless you pump woman's bodies full of testosterone. There is no policy that will eradicate this.

I guess I'm sexist, but since I date an African American attorney, I hardly qualify as racist or completely shovanistic. Guys like me, who do consider women equals, wish they women would recognize our one advantage.

The questions is.. A study showed that if they knew that there was a 100% guarantee that they would NOT be caught, the majority of men would not hesitate to sexually assault a female acquaintance. Please post your thoughts and answers to this, I am very interested to see the results. Thanks.

I work with a man (in his mid-60's) who sometimes uses this term to describe women--often with children--he sees in stores, driving around, at restaurants, on vacation, etc. He doesn't mean to be offensive, but this term sounds so 1950's and other women around him have remarked negatively about his usage of the term. I have to admit, it bugs me as well. Ladies, what's your opinion?
