opressed by teh patriarcy while there is no opression when men perform for women or other men, or even mentioning of male performers.
Could it be that feminism (fasten your seatbelts for this one) embraces doubel standards ?

Pornography has been created by the premise of patriarchy. Women who randomly have sex with several partners have bad names attached to them while men who are sexually overactive are considered more manly. There is your double standard. As far as the sex trade everyone involved including children are sufferening from oppression and an power imbalance that victimizes them and converts them from being humans to merely objects to satisfy others sexual urges.

First I'll say something about the first two answers you got. The first woman completely avoided the question by getting defensive and then redirecting what your saying by pointing out a double standard that men have. Your point is that their are double standards that women have. Clearly both sexes have double standard in society. She then says, (as well as the woman in the second answer says), that all people in the sex trade suffer from oppression, when in fact, some people actually are not oppressed and making a good living off it, and in a healthy way as well. They're not all diseased and lost individuals. But some are. Maybe a lot.

The second woman who answered also said that most men choose this line of work out of enjoyment, and most women don't. That is a biased assumption and not a fact. There are some women, especially some bisexuals, who really do it because they enjoy it.

Also, there are indeed double standards created by some feminists. None are created by the true aspect of feminism, since that part of feminism is about true equality of the sexes. But some double standards are created by THE EFFECTS of the corrput side of feminism. Just look at how some young feminists treat men because of they're misunderstanding of the true equality message from feminism.

i think all strippers & prostitutes are oppressed, objectified, and sexualized [their value comes only from his or her sexual appeal or behavior]. some like doing it, but most do it to make a living.
the sad thing is, for women there's not as many employment opportunities for so-called 'unskilled' labor that they can make a decent wage at. the men that do it are often chosing it because they like it, while women chose it because they need to support their kids & can't do so on minimum wage.
thankfully, women's choices are improving
and there already are double standards, they weren't imposed by feminism.
